Pauline Gillespie
Pauline "Polly" Gillespie is a New Zealand radio host, formerly on More FM. She co-hosted on ''The Polly and Grant Show'' Saturday mornings from 6-10am and the All-Day Breakfast show on Rova with her ex-husband, Grant Kereama. Gillespie and Kereama hosted the ZM breakfast show from 1991 to 2014, making them the longest-serving breakfast duo in New Zealand. The show rated well in Wellington, and enjoyed success across New Zealand. On 28 April 2014, Gillespie and her ex-husband launched a new show on The Hits, owned by NZME. They left The Hits in 2017, and moved to a Wellington weekday breakfast show on More FM that ended in June 2020. Gillespie also wrote an agony aunt column for ''Woman's Day New Zealand'' until the magazine closed in April 2020. She has written an autobiography, titled ''The Misadventures of Polly Gillespie''. The Polly And Grant Show
Polly & Grant (previously known as The ZM Morning Crew and The Polly and Grant Show) was a radio breakfast show on New Zealand radio network More FM, and an internet-only radio station on Rova. The show was presented by Polly Gillespie and Grant Kereama. It was previously produced by Marc Peard, known as "New Hot Guy", and previously aired on ZM and The Hits. In 2007 the Morning Crew won the Best Metropolitan Music Breakfast Hosts award at the New Zealand Radio Awards. Show history Polly and Grant first teamed up together in the late eighties along with Nick Tansley presenting their show exclusively on ZMFM in Wellington; this was at a time when ZM in Wellington was live and local 24 hours a day and not networked to any other region. Advice Column
An advice column is a column in a question and answer format. Typically, a (usually anonymous) reader writes to the media outlet with a problem in the form of a question, and the media outlet provides an answer or response. The responses are written by an advice columnist (colloquially known in British English as an agony aunt, or agony uncle if the columnist is male). An advice columnist is someone who gives advice to people who send in problems to the media outlet. The image presented was originally of an older woman dispensing comforting advice and maternal wisdom, hence the name "aunt". Sometimes the author is in fact a composite or a team: Marjorie Proops's name appeared (with photo) long after she retired. Today FM is a nationwide Auckland-based New Zealand talkback, news and sport radio network owned and operated by MediaWorks New Zealand. It was formed by the 2022 rebrand of Magic Talk and competes directly against NZME station Newstalk ZB. The ''Otago Daily Times'' (ODT) is a newspaper published by Allied Press Ltd in Dunedin, New Zealand. ''Seven Sharp'' is a half-hour-long New Zealand current affairs programme produced by Television New Zealand. The programme was created after the discontinuation of ''Close Up''. It is broadcast live from the TVNZ studio it shares with ''1 News'' in Auckland, at 7 pm (straight after '' 1 News at Six'') every weekday on TVNZ 1. ''The New Zealand Herald'' is a daily newspaper published in Auckland, New Zealand, owned by New Zealand Media and Entertainment, and considered a newspaper of record for New Zealand.
