Seven Sharp
''Seven Sharp'' is a half-hour-long New Zealand current affairs programme produced by Television New Zealand. The programme was created after the discontinuation of ''Close Up''. It is broadcast live from the TVNZ studio it shares with ''1 News'' in Auckland, at 7 pm (straight after '' 1 News at Six'') every weekday on TVNZ 1. ''Seven Sharp'' typically presents 3 stories within a 30-minute timeslot every weeknight, and is designed to be more integrated with social media and real time opinions than its predecessor. ''Seven Sharp'' competes mostly with Three's current affairs show '' The Project''; it also shares its time slot with sister channel TVNZ 2's drama ''Shortland Street'', and Prime's '' The Crowd Goes Wild''. Multiple-camera Setup
The multiple-camera setup, multiple-camera mode of production, multi-camera or simply multicam is a method of filmmaking and video production. Several cameras—either film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Description Generally, the two outer cameras shoot close-up shots or "crosses" of the two most active characters on the set at any given time, while the central camera or cameras shoot a wider master shot to capture the overall action and establish the geography of the room. In this way, multiple shots are obtained in a single take without having to start and stop the action. This is more efficient for programs that are to be shown a short time after being shot as it reduces the time spent in film or video editing. Prime (New Zealand TV Channel)
Prime is a New Zealand free-to-air television network. It airs a varied mix of programming, largely imported from Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. It was originally owned by Prime Television Limited in Australia. Prime later entered into a joint-venture agreement with Nine Entertainment Co. (Nine Network Australia), causing the network's graphics to look like Nine Network. On 8 February 2006, the Commerce Commission gave Sky clearance to purchase the station for NZ$31 million. Prime's analogue terrestrial signals had covered 91% of the population via the state-owned Kordia transmission network. Rose Matafeo
Rose Catherine Lettitia Matafeo (; born 25 February 1992) is a New Zealand comedian, actress, and TV presenter. She was a writer and performer on the New Zealand late-night comedy sketch show ''Funny Girls''. In 2018, she won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for her show ''Horndog''. Early life Matafeo grew up in Ponsonby, Auckland, and attended Auckland Girls' Grammar School, where she was head girl. She has two older brothers. Brendon Pongia
Brendon Pongia (born 27 June 1969) is a New Zealand former professional basketball player who played 14 seasons in the National Basketball League (NBL). He is also a television presenter, having co-hosted ''Good Morning'' alongside Sarah Bradley between 2006 and 2011. Chris Cairns
Christopher Lance Cairns (born 13 June 1970) is a former New Zealand cricketer and former ODI captain, who played for the New Zealand cricket team as an all-rounder. Cairns finished his Test career with a batting average of 33.53 and a bowling average of 29.40. In 2000, he was named as one of five Wisden Cricketers of the Year. Te Radar (born Andrew J. Lumsden) is a New Zealand comedian and television personality. Stacey Morrison (née Daniels, born 1974) is a New Zealand television and radio host. Morrison speaks fluent Te Reo Māori and is active in promoting Māori language, culture and health. Pippa Wetzell (born 26 January 1977) is a New Zealand television personality and journalist with TVNZ 1. Early life Wetzell attended Takapuna Grammar School on Auckland's North Shore, where she was Head Girl in 1994. She went on to study at the Auckland University of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Communications degree.
