Paul Lidel (musician)
Dirty Looks is an American hard rock band from Erie, Pennsylvania, United States. History Originally from the Erie, Pennsylvania cover band Crossfire, the Danish born vocalist/guitarist Henrik Ostergaard and fellow Crossfire bandmate and bassist Jimmy Chartley traveled to San Francisco to form Dirty Looks in 1984. Fellow Crossfire bandmate Boyd Baker joined them a year later. While in California and upon their return home to Philadelphia, the group had a revolving door membership, yet released an EP and three independent albums before Atlantic Records offered them a recording contract. For their major label debut, Dirty Looks consisted of Paul Lidel (guitar), Jack Pyers (bass) and Gene Barnett (drums). The resulting album, ''Cool From The Wire'' in 1988, entered the '' Billboard'' chart, while getting substantial airplay on MTV for their video for the song "Oh Ruby". An independent record label (or indie label) is a record label that operates without the funding or distribution of major record labels; they are a type of small- to medium-sized enterprise, or SME. Lynch Mob (band)
Lynch Mob is an American hard rock band featuring former Dokken guitarist George Lynch. He has been the band's only permanent member. History 1989 formation Lynch Mob was formed in 1989, from the remains of Lynch's former band, Dokken. The band original line-up also featured Dokken's drummer, Mick Brown. The first Lynch Mob album was released in 1990, titled ''Wicked Sensation.'' The title track, along with "River of Love," "She's Evil But She's Mine," and "For a Million Years" were archetypes of the 1980s glam metal scene. However, with the waning popularity of the genre, the album did not gain a widespread audience. Vocalist Oni Logan was fired shortly after the tour, as his lifestyle had negatively impacted his ability to perform. Ozzy Osbourne
John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname "Prince of Darkness". Born and raised in Birmingham, Osbourne became a founding member of Black Sabbath in 1967, and sang on every album from their debut in 1970 to ''Never Say Die!'' in 1978. Max Norman
Max Norman is a British record producer and recording engineer active since 1973. He produced many acclaimed heavy metal releases. While Norman was resident engineer at Ridge Farm Studios in London, Ozzy Osbourne was recording his debut solo album ''Blizzard of Ozz'' with producer/engineer Chris Tsangarides. After Osbourne and Tsangarides parted ways, Norman was asked to carry on. Norman appears in the Megadeth home video ''Evolver'', a documentary about the making of ''Youthanasia''. A record chart, in the music industry, also called a music chart, is a ranking of Sound recording and reproduction, recorded music according to certain criteria during a given period. Many different criteria are used in worldwide charts, often in combination. These include record sales, the amount of radio airplay, the number of music download, downloads, and the amount of streaming media, streaming activity. Lillian Axe is an American hard rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana, best known for its major label albums, ''Lillian Axe'', ''Love + War'', ''Poetic Justice'' and ''Psychoschizophrenia''. Originally formed in 1983, the group is still active, though only the guitarist Steve Blaze and bassist Michael Max Darby remain from the original lineup. History The band's origins are based in the New Orleans based band Oz which guitarist Steve Blaze joined in the early 1980s, which included Rick Bohrer on vocals, Orlando "Ace" Palacio on guitar, Michael "Maxx" Darby on bass guitar, and Jeff Savelle on drums.
