Paul Kamara
Paul Kamara (born 12 August 1956) is a Sierra Leonean journalist, football manager, and cabinet minister. Background Kamara was born on 12 August 1956 in Kambia District, Sierra Leone. He is Catholic and a former priest, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sierra Leone. He is married to Isatu Sidratu Kamara, with whom he has three daughters. Journalism Since 1983, Kamara has served as editor of ''For Di People'', a Krio-language newspaper. Kamara has at times been critical of all sides in Sierra Leone's conflicts and has reportedly angered multiple political parties. Ernest Bai Koroma
Ernest Bai Koroma (born 2 October 1953) is a Sierra Leone, Sierra Leonean politician who served as the fourth President of Sierra Leone from 17 September 2007 to 4 April 2018. Born and raised in Makeni in northern Sierra Leone, Koroma spent more than 24 years working in the private insurance industry before entering politics in 2002. From 1988 to 2002, he was the managing director of the Reliance Insurance Trust Corporation (Ritcorp). Koroma earned a bachelor's degree from Fourah Bay College in 1976; and is an insurance agent by profession. Sierra Leone first became inhabited by indigenous African peoples at least 2,500 years ago. The Limba were the first tribe known to inhabit Sierra Leone. Harry Yansaneh
Harry Yansaneh (died 28 July 2005) was the acting editor for the '' For Di People'' newspaper in Freetown, Sierra Leone, who died after being beaten up by a group of men. Yansaneh accused the men of working for his landlord, Fatamata Hassan Komeh (who was a Member of Parliament for the ruling Sierra Leone People's Party), who had been trying to evict the paper from their building because their reports were critical to the government.
