Pati Patni Aur Tawaif
''Pati Patni Aur Tawaif'' () is a 1990 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Rajkumar Kohli, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Salma Agha, Farha Naaz and Om Prakash. It is a remake of Pakistan's 1988 Urdu language movie '' Bazar-e-Husn''. Salma Agha reprised her role from ''Bazar-e-Husn'' in ''Pati Patni Aur Tawaif''. Plot Vijay Saxena a well-known actor-director lives with his wife, Shanti, and a child. When his movie actress walks out of his movie, Vijay is introduced to a prostitute named Gauri. Problems arise when Vijay ends up in relationship with Gauri. Soundtrack Laxmikant–Pyarelal was the music director of the movie and composed tunes for the songs. Rajkumar Kohli
Rajkumar Kohli (born 14 September 1930) is an Indian film director. He was famous for directing several popular Bollywood films such as the 1966 ''Dulla Bhatti (film), Dulla Bhatti'' and the 1970s ''Lootera'' starring Dara Singh and Nishi (actress), Nishi (Nishi later married Kohli). Other notable films included films with ensemble cast such as ''Nagin (1976 film), Nagin'' (1976), ''Jaani Dushman'' (1979), Badle Ki Aag, Naukar Biwi Ka and ''Raaj Tilak (1984 film), Raaj Tilak'' (1984). Anand Bakshi (21 July 1930 – 30 March 2002) was an Indian poet and lyricist. He was nominated for the Filmfare award for Best lyricist a total of 40 times, resulting in 4 wins. Early life Anand Bakshi (Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid) was born in Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), on 21 July 1930 into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan. The family arrived in Delhi, via a Dakota aircraft after the Partition of India and then migrated to Pune, then Meerut and settled again finally in Delhi. Bakshi was fond of writing poetry since his youth, but he did this mostly as a private hobby. In a 1983 interview with Doordarshan, Bakshi recounted that after his initial studies, he joined the Indian Navy, where due to a paucity of time, he could only write occasionally. Reshma ( ur, ; c.1947 – 3 November 2013), was a Pakistani folk singer. Awarded with Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Star of Distinction), the third highest honour and civilian award in Pakistan among other honours, she is remembered for folk songs and her powerful singing voice. Born in Rajasthan, India in a nomadic Banjara household in 1947, her family relocated to Karachi after the Partition of India. Discovered by a local producer at the age of twelve while singing at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan, Sindh, Reshma went on to record various folk songs for such labels as the Pakistan Radio.
