''Pathamudayam'' () is a 1985 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film directed by J. Sasikumar and written by S. L. Puram Sadanandan. It is a remake of the 1976 Hindi film ''Kalicharan'', and the film stars Mohanlal, Urvashi, M. G. Soman and T. G. Ravi; Mohanlal played dual roles (for the first time in a film) as Sub-Inspector Jayamohan and Vikraman. The film features music composed by Darsan Raman.This film is considered to be one of the first blockbusters of Mohanlal. Plot Menon is supposedly an honest rich man and a clean-hearted guy. Poojappura Ravi
Raveendran Nair, known by his stage name Poojappura Ravi is an Indian actor, primarily concentrating in Malayalam films doing comedy roles. Aranmula Ponnamma
Aranmula Ponnamma (8 April 1914 – 21 February 2011) was a National Award winning Indian actress known for her roles as mother of the protagonist in numerous films in a career spanning over five decades. She is widely described as a mother figure in Malayalam cinema. In 2005, she was honoured with the J. C. Daniel Award, Kerala government's highest honour for contributions to Malayalam cinema.
