Pat King (hurler)
Patrick King (born 1964) is an Irish former hurler. At club level he played with Toomevara, and also lined out at inter-county level with the Tipperary senior hurling team. Career King first played hurling at juvenile and underage levels with the Toomevara club, winning numerous championship titles from under-12 up to under-21 level. He enjoyed his first success at adult level when he was part of the Toomevera team that won the Tipperary IHC title in 1984. King later won three successive Tipperary SHC medals from 1992 to 1994. The second of these victories was later converted into a Munster Club SHC title, before later losing the 1994 All-Ireland club final to Sarsfields. King added further Tipperary SHC titles to his collection in 1998 and 1999, before ending his career back with the club's intermediate team. Toomevara Hurlers
Toomevara, officially Toomyvara (), is a village in County Tipperary, Ireland. The village is at the junction on the R445 where it meets the R499 regional road. The village was bypassed in December 2010 by the M7 Dublin - Limerick motorway. It is also a parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Killaloe, and is in the historical barony of Ormond Upper. Transport Local Link Tipperary operates bus service No. 854 between Roscrea and Nenagh which stops at Main Street. The service operates seven days a week with three services in each direction. The 1993–94 National Hurling League was the 63rd edition of the National Hurling League, which ran from 17 October 1993 until 8 May 1994. Thirty-two teams participated in the league, comprising four divisions of eight teams. Two points were awarded for a win and one point was awarded for a drawn game. North Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship
The North Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Hibernian Inn North Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the North Tipperary Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1907 for senior hurling teams in North Tipperary, Ireland. The series of games begins in March, with the championship culminating with the final in August. The championship has always been played using a knock-out format. The North Tipperary Championship was, until recent times, an integral part of the wider Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship.
