Pasir Gudang is a city in Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia. The main industries are transportation and logistics, shipbuilding, petrochemicals and other heavy industries, and oil palm storage and distribution, which is located in Johor Port and Tanjung Langsat. History Established in 1918, Pasir Gudang, which was formerly known as Kampung Pasir Udang, was founded by Long Abu who is believed to have originated from Riau, Indonesia. Masai, Johor
Masai is an area in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia, and is the oldest neighbourhood of Johor Bahru town. It is located 25 kilometres from the Johor Bahru city centre. Masai is located on route J10 which leads to Kong Kong, a fishing village along Johor River. The main access roads to Masai are Jalan Masai Lama (J10) and Pasir Gudang Highway (Federal Route 17). Kampung Pasir Putih is a village in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia. This village was established in 1920, along with three other villages, and is the only one that still exists today in Pasir Gudang. The primary sectors that contribute to the economy of this village are agriculture and commerce. Malays, Indonesians and Pakistanis are the main residents of this village (the latter two work in the nearby factory). Kampung Pasir Putih was administered by the head village named Tuan Suhaimi who live at Tanjung Puteri Resort, which located beside Kampung Pasir Putih.
