Pasha, Pacha or Paşa ( ota, پاشا; tr, paşa; sq, Pashë; ar, باشا), in older works sometimes anglicized as bashaw, was a higher rank in the Ottoman Empire, Ottoman political and military system, typically granted to governors, generals, dignitary, dignitaries, and others. As an honorific, honorary title, ''Pasha'', in one of its various ranks, is similar to a British Peerage of the United Kingdom, peerage or knighthood, and was also one of the highest titles in the 20th-century Kingdom of Egypt. The title was also used in Morocco in the 20th century, where it denoted a regional official or governor of a district. Pasha Records
Pasha Records was a record label founded by Spencer Proffer, part of the Pasha Music Corporation. With distribution through CBS Records, Pasha was the home to acts such as Quiet Riot, Kick Axe, Outlaws, Isle of Man, Colortone, Billy Thorpe, Randy Bishop and Rhythm Corps. The Pasha Music Corporation was formed in 1978 by songwriter and record producer, Spencer Proffer, to develop and produce multi dimensional recording artists and performers. Pasha owned two unique and highly acclaimed recording studios at 5615 Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, California, USA, the Pasha Music House (1979-1988), designed with Chief Engineer Larry Brown, Sound Designer Ed Bannon, engineers included Jeff Clark, Duane Baron, Mike Sanders. The studio served as the nerve center for the company's activities. Pasha had a production company and a record company, Pasha/CBS Records. Tshering Phintso "Danny" Denzongpa (born 25 February 1948) is an Indian actor, singer and film director who primarily works in Hindi films. He has acted in over 190 films since 1971.
