Parvibacter
''Parvibacter'' is a genus in the phylum Actinomycetota containing a single species, ''Parvibacter caecicola''. Taxonomy In 2018, Nouioui ''et al.'' proposed merging the genus ''Parvibacter'' along with the genera ''Asaccharobacter and Enterorhabdus'' within the genus '' Aldercreutzia'' based on observed clustering of these genera within phylogenetic trees. However, subsequent phylogenetic analyses observed that ''Parvibacter caecicola'' exhibited much deeper branching compared to other ''Aldercreutzia'' species. Its phylogenetic distinctness was further demonstrated by the presence of five conserved signature indels Conserved signature inserts and deletions (CSIs) in protein sequences provide an important category of molecular markers for understanding phylogenetic relationships. CSIs, brought about by rare genetic changes, provide useful phylogenetic markers ... (CSIs) that are exclusively shared by all ''Aldercreutzia'' species except for ''P. caecicola''. Thus, ''P. caeci ...

This article lists the genera of the bacteria. The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN) and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). However many taxonomic names are taken from the GTDB release 07-RS207 (8th April 2022). Actinomycetota
The ''Actinomycetota'' (or ''Actinobacteria'') are a phylum of all gram-positive bacteria. They can be terrestrial or aquatic. They are of great economic importance to humans because agriculture and forests depend on their contributions to soil systems. In soil they help to decompose the organic matter of dead organisms so the molecules can be taken up anew by plants. While this role is also played by fungi, ''Actinomycetota'' are much smaller and likely do not occupy the same ecological niche. In this role the colonies often grow extensive mycelia, like a fungus would, and the name of an important order of the phylum, '' Actinomycetales'' (the actinomycetes), reflects that they were long believed to be fungi. Some soil actinomycetota (such as ''Frankia'') live symbiotically with the plants whose roots pervade the soil, fixing nitrogen for the plants in exchange for access to some of the plant's saccharides. Other species, such as many members of the genus '' Mycobacterium'', ar ...

Asaccharobacter
''Asaccharobacter'' is a bacterial genus from the family of Coriobacteriaceae. Up to now there is only one species of this genus known (Asaccharobacter celatus ''Asaccharobacter celatus'' is a Gram-positive, non- spore-forming and obligately anaerobic Anaerobic means "living, active, occurring, or existing in the absence of free oxygen", as opposed to aerobic which means "living, active, or occurring ...). In 2018, Nouioui ''et al.'' proposed merging the genus ''Asaccharobacter'' within the genus '' Aldercreutzia'' based on observed clustering of these genera within phylogenetic trees. The correct nomenclature for the sole species of this genus is now ''Adlercreutzia'' ''equolifaciens'' subsp. ''celatus.'' Conserved Signature Indels
Conserved signature inserts and deletions (CSIs) in protein sequences provide an important category of molecular markers for understanding phylogenetic relationships. CSIs, brought about by rare genetic changes, provide useful phylogenetic markers that are generally of defined size and they are flanked on both sides by conserved regions to ensure their reliability. While indels can be arbitrary inserts or deletions, CSIs are defined as only those protein indels that are present within conserved regions of the protein. The CSIs that are restricted to a particular clade or group of species, generally provide good phylogenetic markers of common evolutionary descent. Due to the rarity and highly specific nature of such changes, it is less likely that they could arise independently by either convergent or parallel evolution (i.e. homoplasy) and therefore are likely to represent synapomorphy. Other confounding factors such as differences in evolutionary rates at different sites or among ...
