Partido De Ibalon
The Partido is a district in Camarines Sur, a province of the Philippines, that was formerly known as the Partido de Ibalon. The Spanish divided the Bicol Region into two distinct areas at the present province of Camarines Sur, the southern part becoming known as the Partido. The northern, upper portion included present-day Camalig, Albay, and all the towns of Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte, and was called “Partido de Camarines”. The southern portion comprised the region south of Camalig, Sorsogon, the islands of Masbate and Catanduanes, was called “Partido de Ibalon”, which was later simply called "Partido". Camalig, Albay
Camalig, officially the Municipality of Camalig ( bcl, Banwaan kan Camalig; tl, Bayan ng Camalig), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Albay, Philippines. Nueva Camarines
Nueva Camarines is a proposed province of the Philippines to be created out of Camarines Sur in the Bicol Region of the island of Luzon. The proposed province would border Camarines Sur to the west, the Philippine Sea to the north, Albay to the south, and to the east the island province of Catanduanes across Maqueda Channel. Its capital is expected to be Tigaon if the bill is passed. House Bill 4820, which could have created the province passed the House of Representatives of the Philippines with 229 votes in favor to one against in 2011.
