Park Island Transport Company (PITC) operates bus and ferry services between Ma Wan Island and other parts of Hong Kong territory. It was established in 2002. Park Island is a major private housing estate on the island. History PITC was established in 2002 as a joint venture between Hong Kong & Kowloon Ferry and Transport International (then known as Kowloon Motor Bus Holdings). In 2009, the business was purchased by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Alexander Dennis Enviro200
The Alexander Dennis Enviro200 (previously known as the TransBus Enviro200) is a midibus that was manufactured by TransBus International and later Alexander Dennis between 2003 and 2018. The original TransBus Enviro200 design was innovative but ultimately unsuccessful, with few being sold before the introduction of the second generation Enviro200 (originally referred to as the Enviro200 Dart) revived sales for the product from 2006. It was supposed to be positioned in between a minibus and a rigid single-decker bus. The Enviro200 was originally designed to be the replacement for the Dennis Dart SLF chassis and Alexander ALX200 and Plaxton Pointer 2 bodies. The Enviro200 MMC was launched in 2014, eventually replacing the original Enviro200 and Enviro300, which went out of production in 2018 and 2016 respectively. Tsuen Wan West Station
Tsuen Wan West is an underground MTR station in Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located between and stations on the . There is an emergency platform on the southern side of the station. There is a large bus and minibus interchange above the station, connecting it with most residential areas, factories, as well as shopping centres in the area. However, during the early days of operation the station has had little passenger traffic. Only a small number of residents in a few nearby residential estates and workers from nearby factories use the station. However, with the opening of new developments in central Tsuen Wan such as the 80 storey Nina Tower, Vision City, and City Point, traffic has increased. The Central Ferry Piers (Chinese: 中環碼頭) are situated on the northeast part of Central, Hong Kong Island. The ferries mostly depart to Outlying Islands in the New Territories, with the exception of Pier 1 serving as a government pier, and ferries from piers 7 and 8 going to Kowloon. Environmental Performance Vehicles (EPV), previously DesignLine Corporation, is a manufacturer of coach, electric and range-extended electric (hybrid) buses. It was founded in Ashburton, New Zealand in 1985. Initially it was a manufacturer of tour coaches. In the 1990s it diversified into conventional transit buses and then added hybrid city buses in the late 1990s. It was acquired by American interests in 2006, and DesignLine Corporation's headquarters was relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina.
