One Big Happy (TV Series)
''One Big Happy'' is an American sitcom television series produced by Ellen DeGeneres starring Kelly Brook, Nick Zano and Elisha Cuthbert, about a gay woman, Lizzy, who is pregnant with her best friend Luke's baby, while he is in love with another woman, Prudence. The show was created by Liz Feldman, and it premiered on March 17, 2015. Six episodes were ordered by NBC. On May 8, 2015, NBC cancelled the series after one season. It was produced by Visualized, Inc., in association with A Very Good Production and Warner Bros. Television. Sitcom
A sitcom, a portmanteau of situation comedy, or situational comedy, is a genre of comedy centered on a fixed set of characters who mostly carry over from episode to episode. Sitcoms can be contrasted with sketch comedy, where a troupe may use new characters in each sketch, and stand-up comedy, where a comedian tells jokes and stories to an audience. Sitcoms originated in radio, but today are found mostly on television as one of its dominant narrative forms. A situation comedy television program may be recorded in front of a studio audience, depending on the program's production format. The effect of a live studio audience can be imitated or enhanced by the use of a laugh track. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999.
