Ofer Berkovitch
Ofer Berkovitch ( he, עופר ברקוביץ'; July 7, 1983) is the founder and chairman of Jerusalem's “Hitorerut in Jerusalem” political movement, a member of the Jerusalem city council, and Hitorerut's 2018 candidate for Mayor of Jerusalem. Previously, Berkovitch served as Jerusalem's Deputy Mayor and has held municipal portfolios for culture, economic development, and the city center among others. Early life Berkovitch grew up in Jerusalem's French Hill and Ramat Sharett neighborhoods. He achieved the rank of captain in the Israeli Defense Forces before being discharged. Today, Berkovitch serves in the army's reserves program with the rank of major. He holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC; he, תאגיד השידור הישראלי, translit=Ta'agid HaShidur HaYisra'eli, lit=Israeli Broadcasting Corporation; ar, هيئة البث الإسرائيلي, translit=Hayyat al-Bathi al-Isrāʼīlī) is the national broadcaster of Israel. Ayoob Kara ( ar, أيوب قرا, he, איוב קרא; born 12 March 1955) is an Israeli Druze politician. He has served as a member of the Knesset for Likud in four spells between 1999 and 2021, and as Minister of Communications. Biography Kara was born in Daliyat al-Karmel, a Druze town near Haifa, in 1955. He went to an agricultural high school in Kfar Galim. Channel 10 ( he, ערוץ עשר, translit=Arutz Eser), formerly known as Israel 10 ( he, ישראל 10, translit=Yisra'el Eser), was an Israeli free-to-air television channel. Gideon Moshe Sa'ar ( he, גִּדְעוֹן סַעַר; born 9 December 1966) is an Israeli politician who has served as Minister of Justice since June 2021. Sa'ar was previously a member of the Knesset for the Likud between 2003 and 2014, as Deputy Prime Minister for a brief spell in 2021, as well as holding the posts of Education Minister (2009–2013) and Minister of the Interior (2013–2014). Dan Hotels is a chain of Israeli luxury hotels established in 1947. The chain owns 18 hotels with 3,669 rooms, a convention center and a hotel training center, as well as a 226-room hotel in Bangalore, India. History In June 1947, Yekutiel and Shmuel Federmann leased Kaete Dan, a small guest house on Tel Aviv beach from its then-owner, Abraham Stamberg. Roy Folkman ( he, רוֹעִי פוֹלְקְמָן, born 5 August 1975) is an Israeli politician. He served as a member of the Knesset for Kulanu between 2015 and 2019. Biography During his IDF national service Folkman served as a combat medic.
