Ozhivukalam
''Ozhivukaalam'' is a 1985 Indian Malayalam-language film, written by P. Padmarajan, directed by Bharathan and produced by P. V. Gangadharan. The film stars Prem Nazir, Srividya, Rohini and Menaka. The film has musical score by Johnson. Plot Chinnu returns to her home for vacation, to her widowed mother. Her mother, Nirmala, has only Nandini as a companion when Chinnu goes to Bangalore for her studies. Chinnu lost her father twelve years ago and on thinking that her mother will be all alone once she leaves for higher studies, Chinnu advises her mother to remarry someone. Nirmala informs Chinnu that it is Das. Chinnu will feel a sudden discomfort on hearing that name but Nirmala feels very elated. She tells Chinnu that Das uncle, her cousin, will be visiting them. Johnson (composer)
Thattil Antony Johnson (26 March 1953 – 18 August 2011), popularly known as Johnson Master, was an Indian film score composer and music director who has given music to some of the most important motion pictures of Malayalam cinema, including those for ''Koodevide'', ''Namukku Parkkan Munthiri Thoppukal, Namukku Paarkkan Munthiri Thoppukal'', ''Oru Minnaminunginte Nurunguvettam'', ''Vadakkunokkiyantram'', ''Perumthachan (film), Perumthachan'', ''Njan Gandharvan'', ''Ponthan Mada'', and ''Bhoothakkannadi''. Jalaja is an Indian actress in Malayalam films who was active during the 1970s and 1980s. She had won Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress and Filmfare Award for Best Actress in 1981 for the movie Venal directed by Lenin Rajendran. Padmavathy Iyengar, better known by her stage name, Menaka (born 27 August 1963), is an Indian actress and film producer. She made her debut in the 1979 Tamil film ''Ramayi Vayasukku Vanthutta''. In an acting career spanning from 1980 to 1987, Menaka appeared in over 125 films as a heroine, mostly in Malayalam. She also appeared in few Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. Bharathan
Bharathan (14 November 1946 – 30 July 1998) was an Indian film maker, artist, and art director. Bharathan is noted for being the founder of a new school of film making in Malayalam cinema, along with Padmarajan and K. G. George, in the 1980s, which created films that were widely received while also being critically acclaimed. A train of directors, and screenwriters followed this school onto the 1990s including Sibi Malayil, Kamal, Lohithadas and Jayaraj. Lathika ( ml, ലതിക) is an Indian playback singer whose voice held sway over the music charts in the late 1980s-early 1990s in the Malayalam film industry. She has lent her voice mainly for Malayalam and Tamil film songs for over 300 films.
