Thattil Antony Johnson (26 March 1953 – 18 August 2011), popularly known as Johnson Master, was an Indian film score composer and music director who has given music to some of the most important motion pictures of Malayalam cinema, including those for '' Koodevide'', '' Namukku Paarkkan Munthiri Thoppukal'', '' Oru Minnaminunginte Nurunguvettam'', '' Vadakkunokkiyantram'', '' Perumthachan'', '' Njan Gandharvan'', '' Ponthan Mada'', and '' Bhoothakkannadi''. Regarded as one of the finest composers in the industry, he was noted for his lyrical and expressive melodies together with simple but rich tonal compositions of thematic music. ''Bhoothakkannadi'' (English:''Magnifying glass'') is a 1997 Malayalam psychological drama film written and directed by A. K. Lohithadas in his directorial debut. It tells the story of Vidyadharan (Mammootty), a clockmaker, and his inability to deal with the harsh realities of life. This was Lohithadas's first movie as a director. Despite being a box office failure, the movie was critically acclaimed and is often regarded as a classic in Malayalam cinema. Sathyan Anthikad is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and lyricist who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. In a career spanning five decades he has directed more than 50 films, been the lyricist for 12 films and been the scriptwriter for 6 films. Padmarajan Padmanabhan Pillai, better known as P. Padmarajan (23 May 1945 – 23 January 1991) was an Indian film maker, screenwriter and author who was known for his works in Malayalam literature and Malayalam cinema. He was the founder of a new school of film making in Malayalam cinema, along with Bharathan and K. G. George, in the 1980s. Balachandra Menon (born 11 January 1954) is an Indian actor, director and script writer. He made a number of films in the Malayalam films of the 1980s, 1980s and Malayalam films of the 1990s, 1990s.
