Oscar Moreno (politician)
Oscar "Oca" Seriña Moreno (born February 28, 1951) is a Filipino politician and the former Mayor of Cagayan de Oro, Mayor of Cagayan de Oro City, Northern Mindanao, Philippines, the provincial capital of Misamis Oriental. He is a lawyer by profession and a former banker before he entered public service. Career Politics Moreno's first foray in public service was in 1995 when he ran for Representative of the First District of Misamis Oriental. He lost to the then-incumbent, the late Homobono Cezar. Three years later in 1998, however, Moreno defeated Cezar to sit as representative of the First District of Misamis Oriental. Congressman (1998–2004) During his congressional tenure, he authored and co-authored legislation on fiscal and financial reform, anti-money laundering, barangay micro-business enterprise. Óscar Moreno
Óscar Moreno (Porto, November 16, 1878 - Porto, May 26, 1971), was a Portuguese urologist, doctor, scientist and chemist. Early life Moreno was born in Porto, in the parish of Victoria, the son of Jose Lourenço Russo, and Lucinda de Sousa Martins Ribeiro. His uncle (on his mother's side) was Dr. Rodrigo de Sousa Moreno, doctor of the medical school of Porto and administrator of the county of Gondomar. Studies Influenced by his uncle, he started his medical studies in the School of Medicine and Surgery of Porto. On completing the course of medicine in 1908 as a student of Roberto Frias, he attended the Medical School of Paris (Necker Hospital) as a student of Marie Curie. There he specialized in urology, completing his doctorate in medicine in the year of 1911. His thesis "About Kidney Functions" received the best classification. Óscar Cano
Óscar Pedro Cano Moreno (born 6 November 1972) is a Spanish football manager, most recently with Deportivo de La Coruña. Manager career Born in Granada, Andalusia, Cano began his managerial career at lowly CD Imperio de Albolote and subsequently managed neighbours Arenas CD in Tercera División, before moving to Segunda División B side CD Baza in the 2006 summer. After taking the club to an historical 12th position, he was appointed at the helm of Granada CF, also in the third level. In October 2008, Cano left the club and was appointed Polideportivo Ejido manager in January 2010. On 1 July 2010 he was appointed at Segunda División's UD Salamanca, replacing resigned Jorge D'Alessandro. Cano was sacked by the ''Charros'' on 14 February 2011, after suffering ten consecutive defeats. On 26 July, he joined UD Melilla, leaving the club in June 2012.
