Ondarreta Stadium was a football stadium in San Sebastián, Spain. It was the home ground of Real Sociedad from 1909 to 1913 when it was replaced by Atotxa Stadium. San Sebastián Recreation Club
The San Sebastián Recreation Club was the name of the football section of the Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián club based in San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain. It was the first football club in the city and in 1905, they participated in the Copa del Rey. History The San Sebastián Recreation Club was founded on 28 August 1904 as part of a multi-sports club known as Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián, which had numerous other sports such as cricket and athletics, but the most important of which being tennis, hence the entity's name. Real Sociedad de Fútbol, S.A.D., more commonly referred to as Real Sociedad (; ''Royal Society''), La Real in Spanish, Erreala in Basque, is a Spanish professional sports club in the city of San Sebastián, Basque Country, founded on 7 September 1909. Atotxa Stadium
Atotxa ( es, Atocha) was a association football, football stadium in San Sebastián, Spain. It was the home ground of Real Sociedad until 1993 when it was replaced by Anoeta Stadium. It had superseded Ondarreta Stadium 80 years earlier. It had a capacity of 17,000 spectators. History The Municipal Stadium of Atocha was the second stadium that Real Sociedad had in their history, preceded by Ondarreta Stadium, Ondarreta, located in the neighborhood of the old town of San Sebastián. Later the team moved to the Eguia neighborhood. The stadium of Atocha was constructed in the grounds of an old velodrome, built in 1888. Remigio Iza
Remigio Iza Urcullu (20 January 1883 – 4 May 1960) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Athletic Club. The highlight of his career was scoring the winning goal of the 1910 UECF Copa del Rey Final against Vasconia. Biography Together with José María Belauste, Luis Hurtado and Martyn Veitch, he was part of the great Athletic side that won back-to-back Copa del Rey titles in 1910 and 1911, in which Iza contributed with the winning goal of the 1910 final in a 1–0 win over Vasconia. He also featured in the 1911 Copa del Rey Final in a convincing 3–1 win over RCD Espanyol. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. History This enterprise, according to its founders, was created in January 1994 by three regulars of the Rec.Sport.Soccer (RSS) Usenet newsgroup: Lars Aarhus, Kent Hedlundh, and Karel Stokkermans.
