Omar Al Soma
Omar Al Somah ( ar, عمر السومة; born 28 March 1989) is a Syrian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Qatar Stars League club Al-Arabi, on loan from Saudi club Al Ahli, and the Syria national team. Nicknamed in Syria as ''Al ʿAqqid'' ( ar, العكيد) which is a historical civil character in Damascus known for participating in the resistance against occupiers and for being courageous, helpful and generous. In July 2014, Al Somah joined Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League. He went on to become the league top goalscorer in 2015, 2016 and 2017. He helped the team win the league in 2016, their first in 32 years. Club career Al Futowa Al Somah began his football career at the age of 12, joining the youth academy of Al Futowa (Deir ez-Zor) which won the 2007–08 Syrian under-18 league; Al Somah was the top scorer of the league that season with 29 goals. Kuwait Federation Cup
The Kuwaiti Federation Cup ( ar, كأس الاتحاد الكويتي) is a competition organised by the Kuwait Football Association, the Kuwaiti version of a League cup and has been played in its current format every year since 2008. The first edition of the Federation Cup however was played in the 1969–70 season, although not much is known about the competition in the early years. The competition is for senior teams playing in the top tier Kuwaiti Premier League, although the 2015–16 edition saw Burgan enter to gain much needed practice before they enter the top flight. The cup competition is predominantly played during international breaks (Group stage) and after league match days. the Tournament was abolished at the end of 2015–16 season later returned in 2017–18. A header is a technique that is used in association football to control the ball using the head to pass, shoot or clear. This can be done by standing, jumping or diving position. Header is a common technique and is used by players in almost every match. Al Fateh Sports Club ( ar, نادي الفتح الرياضي) is a Saudi Arabian multi-sports club based in Al-Mubarraz, Al-Ahsa. It is mainly known for its professional football club. Nasser Al-Shamrani ( ar, ناصر الشمراني) (born 23 November 1983) is a Saudi Arabian footballer who plays former the Saudi Arabia national team as a forward. Often considered one of the most versatile, effective Saudi Arabian strikers of all time, he won the Asian Footballer of the Year award in 2014.
