Olli Lindholm
Olli Lindholm (19 March 1964 – 12 February 2019) was a Finnish singer and guitarist. He was the lead singer of the renowned Finnish band Yö since the early 1980s with a string of hits and albums. In addition, he worked on a solo basis with his own four albums released on various labels including ''Maailma on kaunis'' in 2010 that peaked at number one on The Official Finnish Chart ''Suomen virallinen lista''. Career Olli Lindholm was a founding member of the Finnish rock band Yö. The band was formed in 1981. During his decades long participation in Yö, members of the band had drastically changed, as he was eventually the only original member left. Lindholm's career in music had started from punk rock at the age of 16. He participated in multiple bands during the early years of his career. Appendix is a Finnish punk rock band. It was founded in 1980 and has released five studio albums. Their debut album was released in 1983. It was later re-issued by the German label Rock-O-Rama with an English title ''Money Is Not My Currency''. The Official Finnish Charts ( fi, Suomen virallinen lista; sv, Finlands officiella lista) are national record charts in Finland compiled and published by Musiikkituottajat – IFPI Finland. The name ''Suomen virallinen lista/Finlands officiella lista'' (lit. ''Idols'' is a Finnish reality-television singing competition that airs on Nelonen (and formerly also on MTV3 and Sub). It debuted in the summer of 2003, and went on to become one of the most popular shows on Finnish television. Part of the ''Idol'' franchise, it originated from the reality program ''Pop Idol'' created by British entertainment executive Simon Fuller, which was first aired in 2001 in the United Kingdom. The Voice Of Finland
''The Voice of Finland'' is a Finnish reality singing competition and local version of ''The Voice'' first broadcast as ''The Voice of Holland''. The series premiered on Nelonen on 30 December 2011 and the first season concluded in April 2012. A second season started on 4 January 2013 and concluded on 26 April 2013. The series was further renewed for a third season, which premiered on 3 January 2014. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them.
