Olga Baltazhy, nee Olga Hazanovich ( uk, Ольга Семенівна Балтажі; born April 28, 1970, Zaporizhia, Ukrainian SSR) is a Ukrainian player in the International draughts. Many times champion of Ukraine in International draughts. Olga Baltazhy is a Women's International grandmaster (GMIF). She train by her husband vice president Ukrainian draughts federation Konstantin Baltazhy. Career Olga Baltazhy was European champion in 2014 and Women's Draughts Championship winners in blitz (2015). She took second place at 2001 Women's Draughts Championship, 2017 Women's Draughts Championship (rapid), was third at Women's Draughts Championship in 1995, 2003, 2009 (blitz) and 2012 (blitz), was second at Women's European Championship in 2000 and 2002. 2015 Women's World Draughts Championship
The 2015 Women's World Draughts Championship at the international draughts was held May 11–24, 2015 in Wuhan, China International Draughts Federation FMJD. Sixteen female players in total will be competing in the tournament. The tournament started on May 11, 2015, and will end on May 24, 2015. It will be played as a round-robin tournament, round-robin, with 15 rounds in total, each of which be micro-match from two games. The winning prize for the tournament is 20,000 euros. The Fédération Mondiale du Jeu de Dames (FMJD, World Draughts Federation) is the international body uniting national draughts federations. It was founded in 1947 by four Federations: France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland. Members Currently, the FMJD has more than 70 national federation members in 2021. The Order of Princess Olga ( uk, Орден княгині Ольги) is a Ukrainian civil decoration, featuring Olga of Kiev and bestowed to women for "personal merits in state, production, scientific, educational, cultural, charity and other spheres of social activities, for upbringing children in families". It was established by Presidential Decree № 827/97 of 15 August 1997 and has three grades (classes), the first being the highest.
