Offenbach-Bieber
Bieber is a village in Hesse, Germany, with a total population of 16,137 as of 2020. Since 1938 it has been a ''Stadtteil'' of Offenbach am Main. Geography A small river, a tributary of the Rodau called ''Bieber'' flows through the village. At the top of the hill ''Bieberer Berg'' (elevation 120 m above NHN) stands the soccer-stadium '' Sparda Bank Hessen Stadion'', formerly the '' Stadion Bieberer Berg'', home of the soccer team ''Kickers Offenbach''. History The village's name is derived from the Celtic people. Bieber as such was first mentioned in 791 as ''Biberaha'' in a donation. Into the 19th century, Bieber's population was Roman Catholic. Now there is the catholic parish ''St. Nikolaus'' and a Protestant parish. In 1938, the former municipality Bieber was merged with Offenbach. Offenbach-Bieber Station
Offenbach-Bieber is located on the Rodgau Railway (german: Rodgaubahn) in the Bieber district of the city of Offenbach am Main in the German state of Hesse. The Offenbach-Bieber–Dietzenbach railway also starts here. Today the station is served by lines S1 and S2 of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station. History Bieber station was opened as a station of the Rodgau Railway (Offenbach–Reinheim line) on 30 October 1896. The Rodgau Railway has been operated since 2003 as part of S-Bahn line S1 of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn, but only as far as Rödermark-Ober-Roden. Services between Rödermark-Ober-Roden and Dieburg are operated as an extension of services on the Dreieich Railway (''Dreieichbahn''), which was opened in 1905. Offenbach am Main () is a List of cities and towns in Germany, city in Hesse, Germany, on the left bank of the river Main (river), Main. Bieber (Rodau)
Bieber is a river of Hesse, Germany. It flows into the Rodau in Mühlheim am Main. The Bieber rises northeast of Dreieich-Götzenhain in the field "Am green Born" just west of a farm on Kirchborn and flows from there in the northeast. It takes on the right swelling branch Kirchborn and then pulls through the southern tip of the forest Lichteichen where it flows through the Wollwiesenteich, where they learn from the left another inflow. After re-entry into the field corridor, it soon crosses the county town of Dietzenbach and enters behind it between Dietzenbach and Heusenstamm back into the forest, where she moves past the Patershäuser Hof by its long clearings, here called Liliengraben. Towards the end of the clearing, it picks up the Schmittgraben from the south and then turns north in the direction of its flow, traverses Heusenstamm, passes the Heusenstammer Schloss and then passes under the crossing A 3. Kickers Offenbach
Offenbacher Kickers, also known as Kickers Offenbach, is a German association football club in Offenbach am Main, Hesse. The club was founded on 27 May 1901 in the Rheinischer Hof restaurant by footballers who had left established local clubs including ''Melitia'', ''Teutonia'', ''Viktoria'', ''Germania'' and ''Neptun''. From 1921 to 1925 they were united with ''VfB 1900 Offenbach'' as ''VfR Kickers Offenbach'' until resuming their status as a separate side, ''Offenbacher FC Kickers''.
