O1G is a meme that became a political symbol of the public protests against the government leadership of Viktor Orbán of Hungary. O1G is an acronym of the country-wide popular term , which roughly translates to Orbán is a motherfucker in English, with meaning both ''one'' (hence the ''1'' in the abbreviation), as well as the article ''a''. The word is a vulgar term for semen, widely used in slang to describe an especially unpleasant person. The abbreviation has become a communication tool in international politics, after Guy Verhofstadt, the leader of the Liberal faction of the European Parliament, used the #O1G hashtag in a Twitter message supporting the Hungarian anti-government demonstrations. "Let's Go Brandon" is a political slogan and Internet meme used as a substitute for the phrase "Fuck Joe Biden" in reference to Joe Biden, the 46th and current president of the United States. Chants of "Fuck Joe Biden" began during sporting events in early September 2021. On October 2, 2021, during a televised interview with the Sparks 300 race winner Brandon Brown at Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama, NBC Sports reporter Kelli Stavast incorrectly described the chant in the background as "Let's Go Brandon", which sparked the meme. The slogan has become well known through use by Republican politicians and critics of Biden.
