No Name (Montenegrin Band)
No Name ( cnr, Но нејм, No nejm) was a Montenegrin boyband, best known for the controversies surrounding their participation in the national pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The group made its debut in 2005, with the song "Zauvijek moja" (Forever Mine) ( Milan Perić/Slaven Knezović), winning the 2005 Europjesma and thus representing Serbia and Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005. The group fared 7th in the ESC with a total of 137 points, succeeding in obtaining the straight pass to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 for Serbia and Montenegro. It was founded on 19 November 2003. In November 2006, bassist Marko Perić left the group for an unknown reason. The group disbanded in 2008. Serbs
The Serbs ( sr-Cyr, Срби, Srbi, ) are the most numerous South Slavic ethnic group native to the Balkans in Southeastern Europe, who share a common Serbian ancestry, culture, history and language. ''Evropesma'' ( sr-Cyrl, Европесма) or ''Europjesma'' ( cnr, Еуропјесма) was a pop song contest in Serbia and Montenegro which ran from 2004 to 2006. The winning song represented the country in the Eurovision Song Contest. It was organized by the Serbia and Montenegro union of broadcasters UJRT (consisting of RTS and RTCG). In 2005 and 2006, ''Beovizija'' and '' Montevizija'' served as Serbia's and Montenegro's semi-finals for ''Evropesma'' (respectively). After the dissolution of the state union between Serbia and Montenegro, the semifinal contests took over the role of this festival. Voting process RTCG argued that fairly anonymous representatives from Montenegro have little chance against a number of big music stars that generally take part on behalf of RTS, and who are usually famous in Montenegro itself. Fudbalski Klub Budućnost Podgorica (Cyrillic: Будућност Подгорица, , lit. "Future") is a Montenegrin football club from Podgorica, Montenegro. It is competing in the Montenegrin First League. Its colours are blue and white. Founded in 1925, Budućnost was the Montenegrin club with most appearances in the Yugoslav First League, debuting in 1946. Due to the city being renamed during the communist rule in Yugoslavia, Budućnost was known as ''Budućnost Titograd'' throughout that era. Sunčane Skale was a pop music festival held every summer in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. The festival began in 1994. The festival was held every year from 1994 to 2015, except in 1999 - NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. In 2016, it was cancelled for financial reasons. The festival The festival lasts for three days. Flamingosi
Flamingosi ( sr, Фламингоси) was a popular Serbian- Montenegrin duo. Its members were the Serbian TV presenter Ognjen Amidžić (a.k.a. Renato) and actor Marinko Madžgalj (a.k.a. Valentino). The group was founded in the summer of 2005. Their style was a mix of typical Serbian Folk, rock and jazz. They became a big hit that year, in turn gaining mass popularity. Together with the folk-jazz singer Louis they were the favourites to win the national pre-selection for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, Evropesma with their song ''Ludi letnji ples'' (Crazy Summer Dance), however due to the dispute they came second, eventually Serbia and Montenegro having to pull out of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006.
