Nizami Hajiyev
Nizami Hajiyev ( az, Nizami Hacıyev; born 8 February 1988) is an Azerbaijani football midfielder who is currently banned from football by the AFFA. Career Club Hajiyev started his career with Olimpik Baku in 2006, before moving in 2008 to Khazar Lankaran. In May 2013 Hajiyev moved from Keshla and signed a one-year contract with Gabala. Hajiyev left Gabala on 7 August 2014. On 30 November 2017, Keshla FK confirmed that they had terminated Hajiyev's contract due to suspicion of manipulating matches. The following day, 1 December 2017, Hajiyev was banned from all footballing activities by the AFFA. Gabala Football Club ( az, Qəbələ Futbol Klubu ), also spelled Qabala, is an Azerbaijani association football club representing Qabala in the Azerbaijan Premier League since 2006. Gabala has been the runner up in the Premier League three times and has won the national cup once, in 2019. 2014–15 Gabala FC Season
The 2014–15 season was Gabala's tenth season overall and ninth competing in the Azerbaijan Premier League. Following the 2013–14 Azerbaijan Cup final, Yuri Semin left the club. On 14 June 2014, Gabala announced Dorinel Munteanu as their new manager, on a one-year contract. On 8 December 2014, Munteanu was relieved of his duties as manager, following four wins in sixteen matches. 2013–14 Gabala FC Season
The 2013–14 season was Gabala's ninth season as a club and their eighth season in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top flight of Azerbaijani football. They finished the season in their highest ever position, third, and earned qualification to the UEFA Europa League for the first time in the club's history. They also participated in the Azerbaijan Cup, reaching the final for the first time, where they lost to Neftchi Baku on penalties. It was their first, and only, season with manager Yuri Semin, who mutually terminated his contract at the end of the season. The 2012–13 Azerbaijan Premier League was the twenty first season of the Premier League since its establishment in 1992. The season began on 4 August 2012 and finished on 20 May 2013. Neftchi Baku are the defending champions, having won the previous season. No club from 2012–13 Azerbaijan First Division was directly promoted. The 2011–12 Azerbaijan Premier League (known as the Unibank Premyer Liqası for sponsorship reasons) was the twentieth season of the Premier League since its establishment in 1992. Neftchi Baku was the defending champions, having won their second Azerbaijani championship the previous season. The 2009–10 Azerbaijan Premier League was the eighteenth season of top-tier football in Azerbaijan. It began on 14 August 2009 and finished in May 2010. FK Baku were the defending champions. 2006–07 Azerbaijan Premier League was the fifteenth season of top-tier football in Azerbaijan. The season started with 14 teams, but ended with 13 after FK Gäncä were excluded. The Azerbaijan Premier League ( az, Azərbaycan Premyer Liqası) is a professional league for men's association football clubs.
