Nicky Walker (boxer)
Joseph Nicol Walker (born 29 September 1962) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played as a goalkeeper for several clubs in Scotland and England. Walker was selected for many Scotland squads during the 1990s, earning two international caps. Football career Club A product of Highland League club Elgin City, Walker signed for Leicester City aged 17. He didn't settle in the Midlands though, and returned to Scotland within the year, signing for Motherwell in 1981. Two years later he signed for Rangers, where he soon established himself as their first choice goalkeeper. The arrival of Chris Woods as part of the Souness revolution meant that Walker lost his place. Walker did play in the 1987 Scottish League Cup Final against Aberdeen, which Rangers won after a penalty shoot-out, while injuries to Woods the following season also meant Walker deputised in twelve games to earn a Scottish League title medal. Chris Woods
Christopher Charles Eric Woods (born 14 November 1959) is an English football coach and former professional footballer, who is goalkeeping coach for the Scotland national team. As a player, he was a goalkeeper who played in the Football League and Premier League for Nottingham Forest, Queens Park Rangers, Norwich City, Sheffield Wednesday, Reading, Southampton and Burnley. He also played in the Scottish Football League for Rangers and in Major League Soccer for the Colorado Rapids. He was an England international and was largely Peter Shilton's long-time understudy in the England team in the mid to late 1980s, finally claiming the number one shirt for himself after the 1990 World Cup. Derek Daniel Stillie (born 3 December 1973) is a Scottish retired footballer, who played as a goalkeeper for a number of clubs in Scotland and England. After retiring from football, Stillie pursued a career in English law, and contested the 2019 UK general election as the Conservative candidate for the Central Ayrshire constituency. Craig Nelson (born 28 May 1971, in Coatbridge) is a Scottish former football goalkeeper who last played for Brechin City in Scottish League One. He is currently the goalkeeping coach of the club. Nelson began his career with Partick Thistle before moving to Ireland to join Cork City in January 1991. He returned to Scotland four months later and went on to make 90 league appearances for Thistle before moving to Heart of Midlothian. He stayed at Tynecastle for two seasons (making 24 league appearances) but left to sign for Falkirk. He remained there for a further two season before moving on to Ayr United where he became a stalwart in the Somerset Park side, making 150 appearances in his five seasons there. Henry Smith (goalkeeper)
Henry George Smith (born 10 March 1956) is a Scottish former footballer, who played as a goalkeeper. He spent the majority of his career with Heart of Midlothian. He made his debut for Hearts in a League Cup win over Airdrie at Broomfield in 1981. He won three caps for Scotland between 1988 and 1992 against Saudi Arabia, Northern Ireland and Canada and was part of the Scotland squad at Euro 92. He was perhaps unfortunate to play during a time when Scotland had the services of Jim Leighton and Andy Goram, which restricted his opportunities at international level. Additionally, he played two matches for the under-21s as an overage player. Smith played in the Home Nations Masters Tournament in March 2009.
