Nic Romm
Nicolas "Nic" Romm (born 1974 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a German actor. Life and work After Nic Romm finished the gymnasium in Jülich, a town in the district of Düren, in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, he visited the ''Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover''. There he studied acting from 1997 to 2001. During and since his study Nic Romm appeared in several TV movies and -series and films and took part in a few theatre plays. In 2008 Nic Romm took part in a casting show, which was arranged by German Film director, actor and author Michael Herbig to find suitable actors for his live-action film adaption of ''Vicky the Viking''. The show was broadcast from April 2008 to May 2008 on German TV channel Pro7. Nic Romm won the role of Tjure, a Viking. Nic Romm lives in Berlin. ''Lindenstraße'' (literally "Linden Street") was a long-running German television drama series, broadcast by Das Erste. The first episode aired on 8 December 1985 and since then new episodes were broadcast weekly until 2020. Its last timeslot on Das Erste was Sundays at 18:50. The events of the Sunday episode usually take place on the Thursday before the show. This is a result of the original plan having been to show each episode on a Thursday night. ''Ein Fall für zwei'' (''"A case for two"'') is a German television series, which premiered on 11 September 1981 on ZDF. The series, set in Frankfurt am Main, features two main characters who solve crimes: a defense attorney and a private investigator. Josef Matula (played by Claus Theo Gärtner), a former German police officer, has gone into private business. His method of investigation is very effective and direct, and he sometimes even resorts to dirty tricks. Claus Theo Gärtner portrayed the role until 2013. The series' original opening theme sequence showed the viewer that Matula had been fired from the police and tried or convicted. Dr. Renz has defended him and Matula is seen walking out of the jail accompanied by Renz. Before closing we see that Renz has hired Matula as a private detective.
