''Die ProSieben Märchenstunde'' ("ProSieben Fairy Tale Hour") is a television movie series that has been produced since 2006. It features characters that are exclusively portrayed by German and Austrian comedians and actors. The series is shot in Prague. The screenplays have—amongst others—been written by Tommy Krappweis, Erik Haffner and Norman Cöster who came up with the stories of Bernd das Brot. Additionally, they are directing and have cameo appearances. Many actors use their respective dialect. Thomas Fritsch
Thomas Fritsch (16 January 1944 – 21 April 2021) was a German film, television and dubbing actor. He was regarded as the "Sonnyboy" in the German cinema of the 1960s, and became one of the best-known actors by his presence in television series. Later, he was the German voice of Russell Crowe, of Scar in ''The Lion King'', and of Diego, a Smilodon, in ''Ice Age''. Karl Dall
Karl Bernhard Dall (, 1 February 1941 – 23 November 2020) was a German comedian, singer, and television presenter. His distinctive 'hanging' eye was caused by a congenital ptosis. Family Karl Dall was born in Emden, Germany, the son of a school rector and a teacher. He married his wife Barbara in 1971. They had one daughter, Janina, who works as a stuntwoman in Canada. ''Little Longnose'' (russian: Ка́рлик Нос, ''Karlik Nos'') is a Russian traditionally animated feature film directed by Ilya Maximov. It was co-produced by Melnitsa Animation Studio and CTB, and is the first feature-length animated film by either company. The film is a combined adaptation of the fairy tales " Dwarf Nose" and " Little Muck" by Wilhelm Hauff. It opened in Russia on March 20, 2003, and had 375,000 admissions during its theatrical run. Karl Markovics is an Austrian actor and film director. He was born in Vienna, Austria. Biography Markovics' mother worked as a clerk and his father was a bus driver. Markovics did not want to go into a professional career but wanted to become a stage actor, which his parents supported. However, he failed to pass the entry exam for the Max-Reinhardt-Seminar.
