Newman Ministry
Campbell Newman led the Liberal National Party of Queensland to its first victory at the 2012 state election. His interim Ministry of three members was sworn in on 26 March 2012, pending his determination of the make-up of his full Ministry. His replaced the Ministry of Anna Bligh. Following his party's loss at the 2015 state election, Newman soon resigned as Premier to make way for the ministry of Annastacia Palaszczuk. Andrew Powell (politician)
Andrew Cary Powell (born 15 May 1973) is an Australian politician. He was first elected for the seat of Glass House to the Queensland Parliament for the Liberal National Party of Queensland at the 2009 Queensland election. Early life Powell was born in Melbourne, but moved to Sydney while in primary school and later to Queensland. He received a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland in 1995, and a Certificate III in Public Administration from the Department of Defence in 1996. He became a public servant with the Commonwealth Department of Defence (1996–2000) before spending a year as a short-term missionary in Fiji and New Zealand. John Joseph McVeigh (born 13 May 1965) is a former Australian politician. He was elected to the House of Representatives at the 2016 federal election, representing the Division of Groom. He was a member of the Liberal National Party of Queensland and sat in the Liberal party room. During the Turnbull Government he served in cabinet as Minister for Regional Development, Territories and Local Government from 2017 to 2018. Timothy Leonard Mander (born 9 August 1961) is an Australian politician and a former leading Australian rugby league referee. He is a Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Mander was the Deputy Leader of the Opposition and Deputy Leader of the Liberal National Party of Queensland. Before politics A Christian and bible college graduate, Mander was the CEO of Scripture Union Queensland. Mander controlled the National Rugby League (NRL) grand final in 2004 and 2005. Bruce Flegg
Bruce Stephen Flegg (born 10 March 1954, Sydney) is a former Australian politician. He was a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly from 2004 to 2015, representing the electorate of Moggill in south-western Brisbane for the Liberal Party and its successor the Liberal National Party. He was the leader of the state Liberal Party from 2006 to 2007 and served as Minister for Housing and Public Works in the Newman government from April to November 2012. David Francis Gibson (born 13 October 1967) is a former Australian politician who served as the 18th member for Gympie in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland from 2006 to 2015.
