Nuestra Belleza Latina 2009
Nuestra Belleza Latina 2009 is the third season of ''Nuestra Belleza Latina'' premiered on March 2009. Auditions were once again held in five major US cities (Los Angeles, California; Dallas, Texas; Miami, Florida; Chicago, Illinois; and New York City, New York) and in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During the audition process, 75 young women were given passes to the semi-finals in Miami, Florida. With the twist of adding one more contestant named "La Intrusa" (Francheska Mattei). For several weeks, Francheska Mattei, a professional actress, posed as one of the contestants to know the rumors, secrets, and even gossip from the girls. The elimination process was quick, with 15 women leaving the first day, 40 on the second week, and finally 8 women were eliminated leaving the 12 finalists who will be moving into a Miami mansion where they will be living together for the rest of the competition. Giselle Blondet
Alba Giselle Blondet Gomez (born January 9, 1964) is a Puerto Rican actress and TV host. She also founded the non-profit organization "Fundación Arte por La Paz". Early biography Giselle Blondet was born Alba Giselle Blondet, in 1964, to Victor Manuel Blondet and Alba Gomez, in New York, New York, but was raised and studied in Puerto Rico. Miss Universe 2006 was the 55th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, United States on July 23, 2006. At the end of the event, Natalie Glebova of Canada crowned Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico as Miss Universe 2006. It is Puerto Rico's fifth victory in the pageant's history. After the show, Rivera passed out but quickly recovered. Contestants from 86 countries and territories competed in this year's pageant, surpassing the previous record of 84 contestants in 1999. Greidys Zaldívar (née: Greidys Gil Nimo; born November 18, 1980, in Havana) is a Cuban actress, television host, model and beauty queen. Gil became a contestant on the reality show/beauty contest Nuestra Belleza Latina.
