Notocelia Rosaecolana
''Notocelia rosaecolana'' is a moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in the Palearctic realm, where it has been recorded from China ( Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Shaanxi, and Gansu), Mongolia, Korea, Japan, Iran, Central Asia, Russia and Europe. The wingspan is 15–20 mm. The moth closely resembles ''Notocelia trimaculana'' and '' Notocelia roborana''. The forewings are dilated, the costa is moderately and evenly arched and the fold does not reach the middle. The ground colour is white. The costa is strigulated with dark fuscous. The basal patch is dark fuscous, its edge rather rounded, followed by some grey marks towards costa and dorsum. Henry Doubleday (1808–1875)
Henry Doubleday (1 July 1808 – 29 June 1875) was an English entomologist and ornithologist. Henry Doubleday was the eldest son of Quaker and grocer Benjamin Doubleday and his wife Mary of Epping, Essex. He and his brother Edward Doubleday spent their childhood collecting natural history specimens in Epping Forest. He lived at the same time as his cousin Henry Doubleday (1810-1902) the scientist and horticulturist. There is a blue plaque to him at the corner of High Street and Buttercross Lane, Epping. He was the author of the first catalogue of British butterflies and moths, ''Synonymic List of the British Lepidoptera'' (1847–1850). ''Rosa multiflora'' — (syn. ''Rosa polyantha'') is a species of rose known commonly as multiflora rose, baby rose, Japanese rose, many-flowered rose, seven-sisters rose, Eijitsu rose and rambler rose. ''Notocelia roborana'' is a moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found from Europe to eastern Russia. It is also found in Asia Minor, Iran, Mongolia and China ( Xinjiang). The wingspan is 16–22 mm. The forewings are dark brown at the base and greyish-white to the tip in a wide band covering slightly above half the wing surface. ''Notocelia trimaculana'' is a moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in the Palearctic realm. The wingspan is 15–18 mm. It differs from '' Notocelia rosaecolana'' as follows : forewings somewhat narrower, costa less arched, fold reaching middle, ground-colour much mixed and marked with grey except on a quadrate dorsal spot beyond basal patch ; hindwings grey.
