Norled
Norled (earlier Tide Sjø AS) is a Norwegian shipping company responsible for the group's ferry transport. Tide operates automobile ferries and fast ferries in Rogaland, Vestland, Sunnmøre and Trondheim Fjord on contract with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Kolumbus and Skyss. The company operates 45 car ferries, 17 fast ferries and one water bus. The name Tide Sjø was first used by HSD Sjø AS after Hardanger Sunnhordlandske Dampskipsselskap had merged with Gaia Trafikk. In 2007 Tide Sjø merged with Stavangerske, its subsidiary Fjordservice and the Tide–Stavangerske joint venture Nor-Ferjer Nor-Ferjer was a joint venture ferry company created by Hardanger Sunnhordlandske Dampskipsselskap (HSD) and Stavangerske in 2005 to compete for public service obligation on car ferry routes outside Rogaland and Hordaland, Norway. MF Tysnes
MF ''Tysnes'' is a Norwegian car and passenger ferry in operation in Hardangerfjord since 1970. Ship history The vessel was built by Haugesund Slip AS in Haugesund in 1970 for the '' Hardanger Sunnhordlandske Dampskipsselskap'' ("Hardanger-Sunnhordland Steamship Company"). Since then it has operated almost entirely between the villages of Kinsarvik, Utne and Kvanndal. In 2006 HSD merged with Gaia Trafikk forming a new company called Tide. MS ''Stord'' is a Norwegian car/passenger ferry that has operated on various routes between the numerous islands of Hordaland county since 1970. Ship history The vessel was built at the Hatlø Verksted yard in Ulsteinvik in 1970 for the '' Hardanger Sunnhordlandske Dampskipsselskap'' ("Hardanger-Sunnhordland Steamship Company"). Fjordservice
Fjordservice AS is a defunct passenger ferry company that operated routes from Stavanger to Ryfylke in Rogaland, Norway. It operated from 1990 to 2008. The routes operated were Stavanger– Mekjarvik– Kvitsøy, Stavanger– Usken–Hommersåk and Stavanger– Byøyene. The company was founded in 1990 and started with ferry routes; it was later bought by Rogaland Trafikkselskap (later Stavangerske) and L. Rødne og Sønner.
