Norfolk Record Society
The Norfolk Record Society (NRS) was established in 1930 as a scholarly text publication society to publish historical documents relating to the history of Norwich and the county of Norfolk, England. The Society's objectives were to encourage the study and preservation of historical records relating to Norfolk. The society is registered as a charity. Norfolk
Norfolk () is a ceremonial and non-metropolitan county in East Anglia in England. It borders Lincolnshire to the north-west, Cambridgeshire to the west and south-west, and Suffolk to the south. East Anglia
East Anglia is an area in the East of England, often defined as including the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. The name derives from the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of the East Angles, a people whose name originated in Anglia, in what is now Northern Germany. Area Definitions of what constitutes East Anglia vary.
