Nomads (Greece Season 1)
The first season of the Greek version of the ''Nomads'' aired from October 2, 2017 until December 22, 2017 on ANT1. It took place in Palawan, Philippines, for 12 weeks. The winner received €150,000. It featured 21 players divided into three nomad tribes: Fire, Oceans, Jungle. Apostolia Zoi was the winner of this season. Teams 1) Nomads of Fire, Symbol: Kunalada, Color: Red. Grigoris Arnaoutoglou
Grigoris Arnaoutoglou ( el, Γρηγόρης Αρναούτογλου; born December 17, 1973) is a well-known Greek television host. He is known for hosting morning daily entertaining show, Omorfos Kosmos To Proi as well as Sunday show Pio Poli Tin Kiriaki on Mega Channel. Today he is hosting The 2night Show, a talk show Ekatomyriouhos, on ANT1 . Career Arnaoutoglou started his television career in Thessaloniki, where he was for almost a decade the basic host in many local television projects and shows. Apostolia Zoi
Apostolia Zoi ( el, Αποστολία Ζώη, ) is a popular Greek singer who was born in Elassona, Greece, and she grew up in Volos. She has released four studio albums. Biography Early life At the age of 14, Apostolia moved to Thessaloniki to pursue her interest in diving and swimming where she graduating from the Gymnastics Academy. One night, while out on the town with friends, a singer at a popular club gave her the microphone and Zoi started to sing. The owner of the club saw her talent, and hired her to sing at his club. Apostolia soon realized that she would like to pursue a music career, and began vocal and singing lessons with Christos Lirintzi. At the same time, she was singing with well-known singers such as Vasilis Karras, Evridiki, ONE, Aggelos Dionisiou, and more. Antenna, better known as ANT1, is a television network airing in Greece. Bakunawa
The Bakunawa is a serpent-like dragon in Philippine mythology. It is believed to be the cause of eclipses, earthquakes, rains, and wind. The movements of the Bakunawa served as a geomantic calendar system for ancient Filipinos and were part of the shamanistic rituals of the ''babaylan''. It is usually depicted with a characteristic looped tail and a single horn on the nose. It was generally believed to be a sea serpent, but are also variously believed to inhabit either the sky or the underworld. Tamaraw
The tamaraw or Mindoro dwarf buffalo (''Bubalus mindorensis'') is a small hoofed mammal belonging to the family Bovidae. It is endemic to the island of Mindoro in the Philippines, and is the only endemic Philippine bovine. It is believed, however, to have once also thrived on the larger island of Luzon. The tamaraw was originally found all over Mindoro, from sea level up to the mountains (2000 m above sea level), but because of human habitation, hunting, and logging, it is now restricted to only a few remote grassy plains and is now a critically endangered species. Evangelia Platanioti ( gr, Ευαγγελία Πλατανιώτη; born 9 August 1994) is a Greek artistic swimmer. She competed in the women's duet at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She also competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's duet where her partner was Evangelia Papazoglou. They finished in 10th place.
