Kowloon () is an urban area in Hong Kong comprising the Kowloon Peninsula and New Kowloon. Ho Man Tin Station
Ho Man Tin () is an underground MTR rapid transit station on the and the , located beneath Valley Road in Lo Lung Hang, as part of the Sha Tin to Central Link project. The station's lower platforms (serving Kwun Tong line trains) opened on 23 October 2016 along with Whampoa station as part of the Kwun Tong line extension, while the upper platforms of the opened on 27 June 2021. Despite its name, the station is technically not located within Ho Man Tin and is more than away from the central part of Ho Man Tin between Argyle Street and Waterloo Road. Princess Margaret Road (; lit. "Princess Road") is a road in Kowloon, Hong Kong, forming a part of Route 1. Originally called Nairn Road () with the English name after a town in Scotland and the Chinese name after the nanmu trees that grew there, the road was renamed to commemorate the 1966 visit to Hong Kong of Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA; ) is a registered charity to promote animal welfare in Hong Kong, with outreach services to China. History The organisation was the first charity in Hong Kong to deal with a full range of animal welfare concerns. It was founded by a group of volunteers in 1903, who operated it mainly on a volunteer basis. Activities were suspended in 1914 due to the outbreak of World War I. It was re-established in 1921, with the Governor Reginald Edward Stubbs as president and patron. In 1922, the SPCA's first Dog's Home opened on Waterloo Road, Kowloon. King's Park, Hong Kong
King's Park is an area in Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Location It is bounded approximately by Waterloo Road to the north, the East Rail line to the east, Austin Road to the south, and Nathan Road to the west. There is an elevated portion which is considered the boundary with Yau Ma Tei. Topography The northern areas is hilly, while the southern section is relatively flat. Uses The area is zoned for Government, residential and recreational use, and there are no commercial outlets. The hill north hosts a meteorological station of the Hong Kong Observatory, the Blood Transfusion Centre of Hong Kong Red Cross and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
