Ningbo–Fenghua Intercity Railway
Line 3 of Ningbo Rail Transit () is a rapid transit line in Ningbo. It starts from south Yinzhou District and ends in Datong Bridge Station in Jiangbei District. In the future extension plan, the line will further extend into Luotuo Area in Zhenhai District. The construction of the first section, from south Yinzhou to Datong Bridge, started on 23 December 2014. Route Line 3 starts from Gaotang Bridge Station in south Yinzhou District as an underground line. Then it turns into east-west direction on Yinzhou Avenue and makes a further turn into Ningnan South Road and goes in north-south direction again until it reaches Songjiang Middle Road. Yinzhou () is a district of the major city of Ningbo, Zhejiang province, China. History In 220 BC, Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the Qin dynasty, established three counties called Yin (), Mao () and Gouzhang (). Later they were merged into Gouzhang county during the Sui dynasty. It was renamed Mao county during the Tang dynasty. It had assumed its current name of "Yin" in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. The city of Ningbo was administrated by Yin county until after the establishment of the People's Republic of China. At the same time, Yin county became a county of Ningbo city. Jiangbei District () is a county-level district under the jurisdiction of Ningbo city in Zhejiang Province of the People's Republic of China. The district's total area is 209 square kilometers, which makes it the largest subdivision in the traditional urban area of Ningbo (namely Haishu, Jiangdong, and Jiangbei). The Ningbo–Taizhou–Wenzhou railway or Yong-Tai-Wen railway () is a dual-track, electrified, high-speed rail line in Zhejiang Province, China.
