''Take It Easy'' ( pl, Nie ma mocnych) is a 1974 Polish comedy film directed by Sylwester Chęciński. It is the second part of a trilogy about two quarreling peasants Kargul and Pawlak, which started with ''Sami swoi'', and concluded with ''Kochaj albo rzuć''. The title is Polish idiom, literally translating as "There is no one powerful enough". Sylwester Chęciński
Sylwester Chęciński (21 May 1930, Skwarki – 8 December 2021, Wrocław) was a Polish film and television director. He was born in Susiec, Poland, on 21 May 1930. Chęciński died in Wrocław on 8 December 2021, at the age of 91. Biography Chęciński was born 21 May 1930 in Skwarki. In 1950, he graduated from the 1st Secondary School of General Education named after Jędrzej Śniadeckiego in Dzierżoniów, and in 1956 the Directing Department of the State Film School in Łódź. He is best known for the trilogy Sami swoi, Nie ma mocnych and Kochaj albo rzuć. He directed his first film ''Historia żółtej ciżemki'' in 1961. In the years 1976–1980 he was the deputy artistic director of the film group "Iluzjon", and in the years 1988–1991 the deputy artistic director of the film group "Kadr". Andrzej Mularczyk
Andrzej Mularczyk (born 13 June 1930 in Warsaw) is a Polish writer, screenwriter, reporter, and author of radio dramas. His brother is the Polish writer Roman Bratny. He made his literary debut in 1943 in the conspiratorial publication ''Dźwigary'', which published his work (anonymously). After the war, in 1949 he began to work as a journalist at the same time as he was pursuing studies in the Journalism Department of the University of Warsaw. He completed his studies in 1955. He worked as a reporter and columnist for the weekly publication "Świat". He has been a member of the Związek Literatów Polskich since 1955 and of the Stowarzyszenie Filmowców Polskich since 1964. In 1970-1977 he worked as literary director in the film group Iluzjon, and also worked for Polish Radio for many years. Sami Swoi
''Sami swoi'' (; translated as ''All Friends Here'' or ''Our Folks''; literally "only our own") (1967) is the first part of a Polish comedic trilogy of movies by Sylwester Chęciński. Its two follow-ups are ''Nie ma mocnych'' (a Polish idiom meaning "no one can do") (1974) and ''Kochaj albo rzuć'' ("Love or Leave") (1977). The film The film was black and white but was colorized in 2000 by Dynacs Digital Studios for Polish television station Polsat. The score was composed by Wojciech Kilar. The movie was filmed mostly in Dobrzykowice near Wrocław, with some scenes at Lubomierz and surrounding areas. It was one of the most popular Polish comedies of its times and still remains an old favorite. ''Kochaj albo rzuć'' (''Love or leave'') is a 1977 Polish comedy film directed by Sylwester Chęciński. Plot Kazimierz Pawlak and Władysław Kargul, two elderly peasants from Polish conservative countryside, and their granddaughter Ania receive an invitation to visit the United States of America from Kazimierz' brother John. They begin their travels on the ship TSS Stefan Batory, and end it on a United Airline Flight to the O'Hare airport in Chicago. Anna Dymna
Anna Dymna (née Dziadyk ) (born 20 July 1951) is a Polish TV, film and theatre actress. Foundress of a charity foundation Mimo Wszystko (Against the Odds). Career Anna Dymna intended to study psychology before she decided to take an entrance examination for the Ludwik Solski Academy for the Dramatic Arts in Cracow. While still a student, Dymna performed at the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Cracow. In 1969 she played the role of Isia and Chochoł in the performances of Stanisław Wyspiański's '' Wesele''. Dymna also made her film debut when she was still a student, playing a role in Henryk Kluba's ''Pięć i pół bladego Józka'' (1971) but, because that film was actually never shown on screens, her first official film role is considered to be the role of Gabrysia in the same year's ''Szerokiej drogi, kochanie'' directed by Andrzej J. Andrzej Wasilewicz (10 March 1951 – 13 December 2016) was a Polish stage and film actor, and film director. Wasilewicz was born in Białogard in 1951. In 1975, he graduated from PWST in Warsaw. His first major film role came in 1974—as Zenek, Ania's fiancé—in the film ''Nie ma mocnych''. Since the 1980s he lived in the U.S. and studied at the Columbia University. Wasilewicz had suffered from Parkinson's disease and died from the disease on December 13, 2016, at a hospital on Long Island, New York. He was 65. Halina Buyno-Łoza (12 December 1907, Łódź – 13 September 1991, Wrocław), also known separately with each last name, was a Polish theatre actress and dancer. She is also known for being imprisoned after making public her former role as an informant for the Polish Ministry of Public Security on her colleagues at the Municipal Theatre. Education and career In 1937 she graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Warsaw. Before World War II, she was an actress at the Vilnius City Theatre.
