Nicolás Grau
Nicolás Andrés Grau Veloso (born 9 April 1983) is a Chilean business manager, economist and politician who has been Chile's Minister of Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism since 11 March 2022. Biography Grau is the son of Francisco Grau Mascayano and Paulina Veloso, the former Secretary-General of the Presidency during Michelle Bachelet's first government (2006−2010). Despite being born in Concepción, at a young age he moved with his family to Santiago. In Chile's capital city, Grau attended basic and secondary education at the Raimapu School in La Florida. He completed his BA at the Universidad de Chile Faculty of Economics and Business (FEN), in which he served as president of the Student Federation (FECh) from 2005 to 2006. The Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency () is the cabinet-level administrative office (equivalent to the president's Chief of Staff) which serves in an advisory role to the President of Chile and her or his ministers in the governments' relations with the National Congress of Chile, the development of the legislative agenda, and keeping track of the bills and other legislative activity in Congress as they pertain to the government. Beatriz Sánchez (journalist)
Beatriz de Jesús Sánchez Muñoz (born 24 December 1970) is a Chilean journalist and politician. She is currently the Chilean ambassador to Mexico. During the 1990s and 2000s, she worked as a political and current affairs journalist for radio stations in Chile, where she achieved high recognition for her activity. During the 2010s, she joined television, where she was the host of the ''Hora 20'' news program on La Red. In 2017, she ran for her country's presidential candidacy in the Broad Front primaries, achieving 68% of the preferences. In the same year, she ran as a candidate for the Broad Front in the 2017 presidential elections, where she reached third place, with a percentage higher than 20%, only two percentage points lower than her contender, Alejandro Guillier. Broad Front (Chilean Political Coalition)
The Frente Amplio (Spanish for Broad Front, FA) was a Chilean political coalition founded in early 2017, composed of left-wing parties and movements. Its first electoral contest was the 2017 Chilean general election, where their presidential candidate Beatriz Sánchez came third with 20% of the vote in the first round of election (she just missed getting to the second-round run-off by 3%). SurDa Movement
Surda () is a Palestinian town in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate of the State of Palestine, located northeast of Ramallah in the northern West Bank.
