Nicolas Costa
Nicolas Costa (born 14 November 1991) is a Brazilian racing driver who is set to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship for United Autosports. He was champion of the Porsche Carrera Cup Brasil in 2023. Career Early career Costa began his motorsport career in karting in 2002 at the age of ten, racing in various championships in Brazil. He would go on to rack up fifteen championships over the course of seven years, and finish runner-up to Leonardo Cordeiro in the national Petrobras Karting Championship in 2008. Ferrari Driver Academy is an initiative from Formula One team Scuderia Ferrari to promote young talent inside its own organisation, with several drivers being selected and funded by the team, being under long-term contracts. Felipe Massa
Felipe Massa (, born 25 April 1981) is a Brazilian racing driver. He competed in 15 seasons of Formula One between 2002 and 2017, where he scored 11 Grand Prix victories, 41 podiums and finished as championship runner-up in 2008 by one point. He currently competes full-time in the Brazilian Stock Car Pro Series, driving the No. 19 Chevrolet Cruze for Lubrax Podium. The British Formula Ford Championship was an entry level single seater motor racing category, designed to give racing drivers their first step into car racing after karting. Drivers from around the world were attracted to the United Kingdom to compete in the series, and successful Formula One drivers such as Ayrton Senna and Jenson Button won their first single-seater titles in the championship. The championship was run to various Formula Ford regulations over the years, based on the engines provided for the championship by Ford Motor Company. The Skip Barber Racing School is an American racing and driving school. Skip Barber founded the school in 1975. The Seletiva de Kart Petrobras is a karting competition in Brazil. The competition is promoted by former racing driver Paulo Carcasci, and sanctioned by the Brazilian autosports federation (Confederação Brasileira de Automobilismo). Rules Each year, twelve drivers between 15 and 18 years old are selected to compete. Previous winners are excluded. To be selected for the final event, drivers must pass pre-selection. The organization designates rounds of the national and certain regional karting championships as pre-selection races. The karts are provided by the organization, depending on the hosting track. For the 2017 event, they used Bravar karts powered by a 28 HP Biland engine. The winner of the competition receives 85,000, and the second-place finisher receives 8,000. Leonardo Santos Cordeiro (born 8 November 1989 in São José dos Campos) is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Karting Cordeiro made his karting debut in 2003, at the age of 13. In 2004 and 2005, Cordeiro became Champion of the Petrobrás Smile Cup. In 2006 and 2007, he was runner-up in the Brazilian championship. Formula Three Cordeiro began his single seater career in 2007 in the Formula Three Sudamericana championship. Driving for Lecor Sports, Cordeiro finished seventeenth in the championship, taking one podium finish at Interlagos. Cordeiro remained in the series for 2008 but switched to Cesario Fórmula. The 2012 Formula Abarth season was the eighth season of the former Formula Azzurra, and the third under its guise of "Formula Abarth".
