Nhoah
Nhoah (born 1961; stylized as NHOAH) is a German music producer, composer, DJ and artist who lives and works in Berlin and Vienna. Early life and career In 1980, Nhoah played the drums in various local bands in Berlin (i.a. Aeroflot, Komeda Artist) and worked alongside numerous international artists who resided in the city (e.g., Jayne County, Romy Haag, Hot Java). Around this time electronic means of music production gained momentum and computationally derived sounds began to influence his work significantly. He continued to compose, produce and engineer musical content (e.g., for Larry Steinbacheck/Bronski Beat, Gareth Jones, Rio Reiser, Marianne Rosenberg) working mainly in Hansa Tonstudio and Tritonus Studio Berlin. The Berlin Comedian Harmonists are a German vocal ensemble from Berlin, formed in 1997 and committed to recreating the repertoire of the original Comedian Harmonists of the late 1920s and early 1930s. Origin The group has its origins in the ensemble brought together for the musical play ''Veronika, der Lenz ist da – Die Comedian Harmonists'' (Veronica, Spring Has Come – The Comedian Harmonists), which had its premiere on 19 December 1997 at the ''Komödie am Kurfürstendamm'' on the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. Michael Paradinas (born 26 September 1971), better known by his stage name μ-Ziq (pronounced "music" or mu-zik), is an English electronic musician from Wimbledon, London. He was associated with the electronic style intelligent dance music (IDM) during the 1990s, and recorded on Rephlex Records and Reflective Records. His critically acclaimed 1997 album, ''Lunatic Harness'', helped define the drill 'n' bass subgenre and was also his most successful release, selling over 100,000 copies. Paradinas founded the record label Planet Mu, begun in 1995, where he has championed genres such as juke and footwork. 808 State are an English electronic music group formed in 1987 in Manchester, taking their name from the Roland TR-808 drum machine. They were formed by Graham Massey, Martin Price and Gerald Simpson.
