Neville Madziva
Neville Madziva (born 2 August 1991) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who can bat in the lower-order. He was introduced to Zimbabwe cricket team when South Africa toured Zimbabwe in August 2014. He made his One Day International debut at Queens Sports Club in the first of a three match series. He played one more match in the series in which he took the wicket of Wayne Parnell but failed with the bat. He returned to the Zimbabwe team in the last match of Tri-Series where he took the wickets of Hashim Amla and JP Duminy. With the bat he scored three runs as Zimbabwe lost the match by 63 runs. He made his Twenty20 International debut for Zimbabwe against India on 17 July 2015. In September 2018, he was named in Zimbabwe's squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup tournament. Kadoma, Zimbabwe
Kadoma, formerly known as Gatooma, is a town in Zimbabwe. Location The city is located in Kadoma District, Mashonaland West Province, one of the 10 administrative provinces in Zimbabwe. This location lies approximately , by road, southwest of Harare, the national capital and largest city in the country. The city lies on Highway A-5, between Harare and Bulawayo, approximately northeast of Bulawayo. Kadoma is situated at an elevation of above sea level. The 2014 Zimbabwe Tri-Series was a One Day International cricket tournament held in Zimbabwe. It was a tri-nation series between Zimbabwe, South Africa and Australia. 2020–21 Logan Cup
The 2020–21 Logan Cup was the 27th edition of the Logan Cup, a first-class cricket competition in Zimbabwe, which started on 9 December 2020. After originally scheduled to start on 3 December 2020, the tournament was moved back a week to allow time to setup a bio-secure bubble. Five teams took part in the competition, including the Southern Rocks, who last played in the 2013–14 tournament. There was no defending champion, after the previous tournament was voided due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Four matches were played during December 2020. However, on 3 January 2021, Zimbabwe Cricket halted all cricket in the country following a rise in COVID-19 cases. In mid-March 2021, it was reported that the tournament would resume later that month, with the next round of matches starting on 18 March 2021. 2018 Africa T20 Cup
The 2018 Africa T20 Cup was the fourth and final edition of the Africa T20 Cup, a Twenty20 cricket tournament. It was held in South Africa in September 2018, as a curtain-raiser to the 2018–19 South African domestic season. Provincial side KwaZulu-Natal Inland were the defending champions. Organised by Cricket South Africa, the tournament was played between twenty teams. Sixteen of these teams had participated in previous years – thirteen South African provincial teams, national representative sides of Kenya, Namibia and Zimbabwe – and they were joined by South African teams Limpopo and Mpumalanga along with Nigeria and Uganda. The invitation was initially extended to Ghana, but they declined. Indian Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2015
The Indian cricket team toured Zimbabwe from 10 to 19 July 2015. The tour consisted of three One Day International matches and two Twenty20 Internationals. All the matches were played in Harare. India won the ODI series 3–0 and the T20I series was drawn 1–1. Zimbabwe's win in the second T20I match was their first Twenty20 win over India. In June Zimbabwe Cricket stated that the tour could be postponed to the next year, if broadcasting issues were not resolved. Sources close to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) suggested that the tour would go ahead with India fielding a second-strength side, with the selection committee meeting in Delhi on 29 June to pick the squads. Twenty20 International
A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Starting from the format's inception in 2005, T20I status only applied to Full Members and some Associate Member teams. However, in April 2018, the ICC announced that it would grant T20I status to all its 105 members from 1 January 2019. JP Duminy
Jean-Paul Duminy (born 14 April 1984), more commonly known as JP Duminy, is a South African cricket commentator, and former international cricketer. He was vice-captain of the South Africa Twenty20 team. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm off spin bowler. Duminy, who is a Cape Coloured, was raised in the Western Cape and played domestic cricket for his home team, the Cape Cobras. In September 2017, Duminy retired from Test cricket after playing 46 matches between 2008 and 2017. In May 2019, Duminy announced his retirement from domestic cricket and in July 2019, he retired from all forms of international cricket.
