Indian Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2015
The Indian cricket team toured Zimbabwe from 10 to 19 July 2015. The tour consisted of three One Day International matches and two Twenty20 Internationals. All the matches were played in Harare. India won the ODI series 3–0 and the T20I series was drawn 1–1. Zimbabwe's win in the second T20I match was their first Twenty20 win over India. In June Zimbabwe Cricket stated that the tour could be postponed to the next year, if broadcasting issues were not resolved. Sources close to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) suggested that the tour would go ahead with India fielding a second-strength side, with the selection committee meeting in Delhi on 29 June to pick the squads. Elton Chigumbura
Elton Chigumbura (born 14 March 1986) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer, who played for Zimbabwe national cricket team between 2004 and 2020. He was educated at Churchill School (Harare) and made his debut at the age of 18, amidst the rebel crisis and has played 14 Test matches. Chigumbura is the most capped player in the current ODI squad with more than 200 caps. In May 2015 Chigumbura made his maiden ODI century, against Pakistan in Lahore, in his 174th ODI match. With more than 4000 runs and 100 wickets in ODIs, he is widely regarded as one of Zimbabwe's greatest all-rounders. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the national governing body for cricket in India. Its headquarters are situated at Cricket centre, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Prosper Utseya
Prosper Utseya (born 26 March 1985 in Harare, Zimbabwe) is a Zimbabwean cricketer, who plays all formats of the game. He was the former captain of Zimbabwe from 2006 to 2010. He bowls right-arm off break and is a useful right-hand batsman. Utseya has not played any form of cricket since 2015. Donald Tiripano
Donald Tatenda Tiripano (born 17 March 1988) is a Zimbabwean cricketer, who plays for the national team. He is a right-arm fast bowler and tail-ended batsman. Domestic career He was the leading run-scorer in the 2017–18 Logan Cup for Mountaineers, with 678 runs in eight matches. Vusi Sibanda
Vusimuzi "Vusi" Sibanda (born 10 October 1983) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He has played international cricket for the Zimbabwe cricket team in all three formats of the game. He also played for Midlands in the Logan Cup. Early career Sibanda is a right-handed opening batsman and showed potential as a teenager, graduating from the Zimbabwe Cricket Academy and being fast-tracked into the national team. Tinashe Panyangara (born 21 October 1985 in Marondera) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler. Panyangara first came to prominence during the under-19s World Cup in Bangladesh in 2003-04 in which he bowled 6 for 31 in a surprising victory for the Zimbabweans. Richmond Mutumbami (born 11 June 1989) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. A wicket-keeper batsman, Mutumbami made his first-class debut as a 17-year-old against Southerns in April 2007. Hamilton Masakadza
Hamilton Masakadza (born 9 August 1983) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer, who played all formats of the game for Zimbabwe. He captained the national team during 2016 ICC World T20, but was relieved of his duties due to an indifferent performance by the team during the tournament, where they failed to get past the qualifying round . Tafadzwa Kamungozi (born 8 June 1987) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who bowls leg break. Roy Kaia (born 10 October 1991) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He plays first-class cricket for Mountaineers. He made his international debut for the Zimbabwe cricket team in May 2015. Luke Mafuwa Jongwe (born 6 February 1995) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium pace bowler. Jongwe was selected for three ODIs against South Africa. Craig Richard Ervine (born 19 August 1985) is a Zimbabwean international cricketer who captains Zimbabwe in limited overs matches. Ervine is a left-handed batter.
