Neuné
The Neuné is a river which flows in the Vosges department of France. It is a right tributary of the Vologne, and therefore a sub-tributary of the Moselle. It is long. Geography The Neuné rises within the commune of Gerbépal in the '' parc naturel régional des Ballons des Vosges'', which also contains a part of its length. It flows first to the north-west, then towards the west, and finally towards the south-west where it joins the right bank of the Vologne, at the level of the small settlement of Champ-le-Duc. The Neuné's principal tributary is the B'Heumey, which joins with it in the commune of Chapelle-Devant-Bruyères. Les Poulières
Les Poulières () is a commune in the Vosges department in Grand Est in northeastern France. Inhabitants are called ''Polérois''. Geography The commune is positioned between Épinal to the west and Saint-Dié to the north-east, in the valley of the Neuné, a tributary of the Vologne River. Neighbouring communes are Biffontaine and La Chapelle-devant-Bruyères. Les Poulières is at the confluence of several roads, but roads here are small and twisting, thanks to the topography, on the western fringes of the Vosges Mountains. Vologne
The Vologne () is a river of the Vosges department in France. It is a right tributary of the Moselle. Its source is in the Vosges Mountains, on the northwestern slope of the Hohneck. It flows through the lakes of Retournemer and Longemer, and passes the villages of Xonrupt-Longemer, Granges-sur-Vologne, Lépanges-sur-Vologne and Docelles, finally flowing into the Moselle in Pouxeux. Geography The source of the Vologne is within the Jardin d'altitude du Haut Chitelet. It flows through the lake of Retournemer and Lac de Longemer before receiving the Jamagne, a spillway of Lac de Gérardmer. Runoff Curve Number
The runoff curve number (also called a curve number or simply CN) is an empirical parameter used in hydrology for predicting direct runoff or infiltration from rainfall excess. The curve number method was developed by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, which was formerly called the ''Soil Conservation Service'' or ''SCS'' — the number is still popularly known as a "SCS runoff curve number" in the literature.
