Nestor Forster
Nestor José Forster Júnior (born 10 April 1963) is a Brazilian diplomat, currently serving as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to the United States of America in Washington, D.C. He was appointed by President Jair Bolsonaro as the Brazilian Ambassador to the United States in 2019. His nomination was approved by the Brazilian Senate in October 2020. Biography Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1963, Forster graduated from the Brazilian Diplomatic Academy ( Instituto Rio Branco) in 1986. As a diplomat, he served in Canada, Costa Rica, and the United States, where he was posted three times to the Embassy in Washington, as well as to the Brazilian consulates in Hartford (CT) and New York (NY). The Artemis program is a robotic and human Moon exploration program led by the United States' National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) along with three partner agencies: European Space Agency (ESA), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and Canadian Space Agency (CSA). The Artemis program intends to reestablish a human presence on the Moon for the first time since the Apollo 17 mission in 1972. Jair Messias Bolsonaro (; born 21 March 1955) is a Brazilian politician and retired military officer who has been the 38th president of Brazil since 1 January 2019.
