Nek Ide život
Filippo Neviani (born 6 January 1972), known by his stage name Nek, is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician. Nek is popular in Italy and throughout the Spanish-speaking world, and has performed and released most of his albums in both Italian and Spanish. Nek first gained international success in 1997, when he took part in the Sanremo Music Festival in the Big Artists section, and although he didn't win, the song "Laura non c'è" (in Spanish: "Laura no está") went on to become his international breakthrough as it became a major hit in Europe and Latin America that year, as well the release of his fourth and million-selling album ''Lei, gli amici e tutto il resto'', which was his first album to also be recorded in the Spanish language. After eighteen years he performed at the Sanremo's 2015 edition with the song " Fatti avanti amore" where he reached second place. Sassuolo
Sassuolo (; ) is an Italian town, ''comune'', and industrial centre of the Province of Modena in Emilia-Romagna. Standing on the right bank of the river Secchia some southwest of Modena, the town is best known for being the centre of the Italian tile industry and for being the home town of Serie B side U.S. Sassuolo Calcio. Etymology The exact origin of the toponym ''Sassuolo'' is unclear. One theory is that it might derive from the abundant deposits of petroleum found in the area. The Sanremo Music Festival 1997 (), officially the 47th Italian Song Festival (), was the 47th annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo in late February 1997 and broadcast by (RAI). The show was presented by Mike Bongiorno (at his eleventh and final hosting of the festival), supported by Piero Chiambretti and Valeria Marini. Composers Pino Donaggio and Giorgio Moroder and lyricist Carla Vistarini served as the artistic directors. In this edition, a "Quality Jury", responsible for rewarding the best music, best lyrics and best arrangement, was introduced. Michael Nicholas Salvatore Bongiorno (; May 26, 1924 – September 8, 2009) was an American Italian television presenter. After a few experiences in the U.S., he started working on RAI in the 1950s and was considered to be the most popular host in Italy. He was also known by the nickname ''il Re del Quiz'' ('The Quiz King'), and the peculiarity of starting all his shows with his trademark greeting: ''Allegria!'' ('Cheers!', 'Joy!'). Early years Bongiorno was born in New York City to parents of Italian descent. He moved to Turin (his mother's native city), when he was young. His father was a Sicilian-American lawyer. During World War II, he abandoned his studies and joined a group of Italian partisans. Mietta
Daniela Miglietta (born 12 November 1969), known by her stage name Mietta, is an Italian singer, actress and novelist. She has released 11 albums in total. Biography In 1988, Mietta took part in the Sanremo Music Festival in the Newcomers category with "Sogno". She did not win, but was noticed by the melodic songwriter Amedeo Minghi, who wrote the song "Canzoni" for her the following year. Mietta won the Newcomers category and the Critics award at the Sanremo Music Festival 1989. The Sanremo Music Festival 1993 (), officially the 43rd Italian Song Festival (), was the 43rd annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo between 23 and 27 February 1993 and broadcast by (RAI). The show was presented by Pippo Baudo and Lorella Cuccarini. The winner of the Big Artists section was Enrico Ruggeri with the rock-pop song "Mistero", while Cristiano De André ranked second and won the Critics Award with the ballad "Dietro la porta". Laura Pausini won the Newcomers section with the song "La solitudine". After every night Rai 1 broadcast ''DopoFestival'', a talk show about the Festival with the participation of singers and journalists. Fonit Cetra
Fonit Cetra was an Italian record label, active between 1957 and 2000. History Fonit Cetra was founded in 1957 from merging two already existing labels: Cetra (acronym from Compagnia per edizioni, teatro, registrazioni ed affini), owned by RAI and previously EIAR, and (acronym from Fonodisco Italiano Trevisan), founded in 1911 in Milan. Both labels had already been popular, thanks to such artists as Nilla Pizzi, Achille Togliani, Natalino Otto and Domenico Modugno. Fonit Cetra continued to use two old names on their records and maintained two different offices, in Turin and Milan, until the 1970s, when the main headquarters were relocated to Milan. The Castrocaro Music Festival, also known as Concorso per Voci Nuove, is an Italian musical contest which takes place every year in the town of Castrocaro Terme e Terra del Sole, near Forlì, from 1957. The competition is exclusively reserved for new talents, and it had its maximum popularity from 1962 to early Eighties when, under the direction of Gianni Ravera, based on an agreement with the Sanremo Music Festival the top two finishers of the competition gained the access to the Sanremo Festival.
