Nejib Khattab ( ar, نجيب الخطاب)), (born May 24, 1953 and died on April 25, 1998), was a Tunisian radio and television presenter. Considered the pioneer of direct and variety in Arab televisions, he is the revealer for the Tunisian public of many Arab singers. Biography He began his career on the Tunisian radio and television in the sports category, commenting particularly on the matches of the national team in the 1978 football world cup. The 1978 FIFA World Cup was the 11th edition of the FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football world championship tournament among the men's senior national teams. Assala Mostafa Hatem Nasri ( ar, أصالة مصطفى حاتم نصري; born 15 May 1969), commonly known as Assala ( ar, أصالة), is a Syrian musical artist. She is one of the most popular and famous Arab singers. Early life and career Assala was born in Damascus, Syria to a middle class couple. Mostafa Nasri, Assala's father, was a revered composer and singer. Assala began her musical career by performing patriotic, religious, and children's songs when she was four years old. George Wassouf ( ar, جورج وسوف; 23 December 1961) is a Syrian singer. In a career spanning more than four decades, he has released more than 30 albums, with a significantly large audience of fans throughout the Arab world. Dubbed Sultan El-Tarab ( ar, سلطان الطرب), he is one of the most successful Arab singers selling over 60 million records worldwide.
