Nee (Perfume Song)
is the seventeenth single released by Japanese girl group Perfume (Japanese band), Perfume. "Nee" is used in a tie-in campaign with Japanese apparel brand Natural Beauty Basic, as well as the opening song for the anime Chi's Sweet Home, ''Koneko no Chi Ponponra Daibōken''. The full version of "Nee" was aired on Perfume's radio program ''Perfume Locks'' on 21 October 2010. The single was released on November 10, 2010 in Japan. Promotion and music video "Nee" is being used as the theme song for Natural Beauty Basic, like previous single "Fushizen na Girl / Natural ni Koishite, Natural ni koishite" was used. Like "Natural ni koishite", the video for "Nee" featured outfits created by the clothing line that were simultaneously made available on the website. Perfume (Japanese Band)
is a Japanese pop girl group from Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, consisting of Ayano Omoto ("Nocchi"), Yuka Kashino ("KASHIYUKA") and Ayaka Nishiwaki ("a-chan"). The group has been signed with Amuse, Inc. since 2003 and with Universal Music Group since 2012. The group was formed in early 2000 inside the young talent academy Actor's School Hiroshima and debuted with their first Hiroshima-local single "Omajinai Perori" released on March 21, 2002. A year later they moved to Tokyo, started to work with Capsule's producer Yasutaka Nakata, and released their first nationwide indie single, "Sweet Donuts" on August 6, 2003. Yuichi Kodama (児玉裕一 ''Kodama Yuichi'') is a Japanese video director. He has mainly directed music videos and ads. He often produces music videos and ads that are strongly connected or "tied-up" to each other, such as Perfume's "Secret Secret" and Morinaga Milk's "Eskimo Pino", or Amuro Namie's songs and Vidal sassoon's ads. The was a record chart that ranks the best selling digital singles in Japan, with data provided by the Recording Industry Association of Japan from April 2009. The chart measures cellphone downloads (着うたフル ''Chaku-Uta Full'') (not downloads from PCs, or ringtones (着うた ''Chaku-Uta'')). On July 27, 2012, the service that tracked the charts was shut down. The is an industry trade group composed of Japanese corporations involved in the music industry. It was founded in 1942 as the Japan Phonogram Record Cultural Association, and adopted its current name in 1969.
