Navarasan is an Indian Kannada film director, actor, producer and screenwriter. He is best known for the 2019 film ''Damayanthi''. Early life Navarasan was born on 26 November 1985 in Kolar Gold fields. He was born to a farmer family, and completed his schooling in Santhosh High school Bangarpet. His childhood was mostly spent in helping out his father in agriculture. Career Navarasan is mainly known for his works in horror and thriller movies. He was trained for action and direction at Koothupattarai Institute in Chennai. In the year 2014, Navarasan made his debut as an actor in a tamil movie ''Nee en uyire'' directed by Vikas Lathiraj. His work in the Kannada film industry began as both producer and actor in a horror movie ''Raakshasi'' which was released in the year 2015. ''Vaira'' is a 2017 suspense thriller film that was written and directed by Navarasan, who also starred alongside Priyanka Malnad and Tabla Nani. The music was scored by Ravi Basrur and the cinematographer was Naveen, with editing by Mahesh Reddy. Plot The story revolves around the assignment of a fashion photographer who travels to Madikeri, there he meets a local girl, and falls in love with her. The investigation also leads to a haunted house. However, during his stay at Madikeri, he encounters a series of supernatural incidents and attempts to solve the mystery around them. ''Damayanthi'' is a 2019 Kannada mythological comedy horror film written and directed by Navarasan. The film is also being dubbed into Tamil and Malayalam with the same title and in Telugu language as ''Samharini''. The film is produced by Sri Lakshmi Vrushadhri Productions and is touted to be a mythological horror-comedy. The horror-comedy thriller set in the 80s, has Radhika, who features in three shades. Kolar Gold Fields
Kolar Gold Fields (K.G.F.) is a mining region in K.G.F. taluk (township), Kolar district, Karnataka, India. It is headquartered in Robertsonpet, where employees of Bharat Gold Mines Limited (BGML) and BEML Limited (formerly Bharat Earth Movers Limited) and their families live. K.G.F. is about from Kolar, from Bengaluru, capital of Karnataka. Over a century, the town has been known for gold mining. The mine closed on 28 February 2001 due to a fall in gold prices, despite gold still being present there. One of India's first power-generation units was built in 1889 to support mining operations.
