National Council Of Culture And The Arts
The National Council of Culture and the Arts (CNCA) was the Chilean government agency responsible for arts and cultural policy. The council was founded in 2003 and amalgamated arts and cultural policy under a single agency. It was a cabinet-level position in the Chilean position. Since the council was founded, six ministers have been in charge of the council: José Weinstein under President Ricardo Lagos Escobar, Paulina Urrutia under President Michelle Bachelet, Luciano Cruz-Coke and Roberto Ampuero under President Sebastián Piñera, Claudia Barattini and Ernesto Ottone under the second period of President Michelle Bachelet. Pablo Neruda Order Of Artistic And Cultural Merit
The Pablo Neruda Order of Artistic and Cultural Merit ( es, Orden al Mérito Artístico y Cultural Pablo Neruda) was created in 2004 by the National Council of Culture and the Arts of the government of Chile, as part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda (12 July 1904). It is granted by the Minister of Culture to those national and international figures who have stood out for contributions made in the field of art and culture. The Pablo Neruda Order of Merit was delivered for the first time on 5 July 2004 to the mayor of Barcelona, Joan Clos, and about 15 Ibero-American artists—among them, Miguel Bosé, Joan Manuel Serrat, Víctor Manuel, Ana Belén, Jorge Drexler, Julieta Venegas, and —who participated in the musical tribute that took place at the Palau Sant Jordi, Barcelona. The Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage (Mincap) is the Ministry of the State of Chile in charge of the design, formulation and implementation of cultural policies, plans and programs. Its main headquarters are in Valparaíso, in a building located in Plaza Sotomayor, being the only secretariat of the Chilean State whose national address isn't located in Santiago. The current head of the ministry is Julieta Brodsky. It was created by Law 21045, promulgated on 13 October 2017 and published in the Official Gazette on 3 November of the same year. The Pedro Sienna Awards ( es, Premios Pedro Sienna) are honors granted for Chilean audiovisual production. Named for silent film director Pedro Sienna, they were given for the first time in 2006. Outstanding artists are awarded for the development and strengthening of national audiovisual media and the best works, artists, and technicians of the production of works released in the country between January and December of the previous year. The Pablo Neruda Ibero-American Poetry Award ( es, Premio Iberoamericano de Poesía Pablo Neruda) is an annual award granted by the National Council of Culture and the Arts (CNCA) of Chile, through the . El Mostrador is a Chilean online newspaper, founded on 1 March 2000. Its current president is Germán Olmedo Acedvedo and its director is Federico Joannon Errázuriz. Ernesto Renato Ottone Ramírez (born 11 December 1972) is a Chilean actor and cultural manager. He served in the of Michelle Bachelet, first as Minister President of the National Council of Culture and the Arts (2015–2018), and then as the Minister of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage. In 2018 he was appointed Assistant Director-General for Culture of UNESCO. Roberto Ampuero (born 20 February 1953 in Valparaíso, Chile) is a Chilean author, columnist, and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile, a position he held from March 11, 2018 to June 13, 2019.
