Nanhai Pearl Artificial Island
Nanhai Pearl Artificial Island () is an artificial island under construction off the coast of Holiday Beach in Haikou Bay, Haikou, Hainan, China. The island is owned and being developed by HNA Group. As of April 2016, it consists of a roughly circular body of land with a bridge providing access to and from the shore. It is envisioned to ultimately become a visitor attraction with hotels and to eventually take the shape of a yin-yang symbol and be about 266 hectares. Holiday Beach, Hainan
Holiday Beach () (officially Holiday Beachside Resort) is beach and visitor attraction located along Binhai Road, Haikou, Hainan, China. The 7-kilometre-long, 33 hectare beach area was officially established in 1995. It is essentially an extension of Xixiu Park, which is directly to the east of Holiday Beach. Since then, it has undergone development with the establishment of visitor attractions such as restaurants, swimming pools, and an amphitheatre. The land beside the beach has been landscaped and pathways created. The entire shoreline is maintained by workers who remove rubbish. The beach itself is roughly twenty metres from seawall to waterline, and is visited by tourists and locals alike. The waters are used by swimmers, sailboaters, windsurfers, and occasionally kitesurfers. The beach has also been the site of major competitions for such sports as kitesurfing and volleyball. Haikou Bay is a bay on the northern coast of Hainan Province, China, in the Qiongzhou Strait. It is named for Haikou City, which is situated on the coast. The bridge The Ruyi Island Bridge connecting the island to the Hainan mainland will be 5.666 km long and 27.5 metres wide. The staging port On Hainan's mainland, on the east side of the mouth of the Nandu River, a port has been built to store caissons for the bridge. Barges then transport and place the caissons. Sanya
Sanya (; also spelled Samah) is the southernmost city on Hainan Island, and one of the four prefecture-level cities of Hainan Province in South China.
